The bedrooms were so well thought out - fresh homemade biscuits, charging station, lovely toiletries, comfortable pillows etc. The staff were very friendly and welcoming and the food was some of the best….including the Gin and Tonic! There were plenty of walks from the door of the hotel, helpful maps to borrow and some great stop off points for recharging.

A most wonderful experience. We had been gifted an overnight stay complete with 6 course taster menu. Attention from staff was second to none; accommodation was unique, comfortable, & with great attention to detail; lounge area warm and relaxing; food was nothing short of amazing and we opted for the "wine pairing" too and so enjoyed little known wines which complemented each course. Excellent nights sleep; breakfast choice again extensive & delicious. Would love to think that we could return one day.

What a fantastic place, in a beautiful setting. I love the courtyard, where tables are set discreetly amongst the planting. The room we had was wonderful…so full of character and every whim catered for. The food - breakfast as well as dinner - was divine. Just amazing!!!

Really nice hotel tucked away in the countryside a few miles from Ludlow - very quiet and rural location. Plenty of parking for residents and all rooms very close. Check in was quick and we were then offered tea outside in the garden - surrounded by swallows and other birds - really nice. Comfortable, well appointed room with a spacious bathroom and good shower. Room close to car park, bar and restaurant. Lovely place for a stay in the countryside but with historic places such as Ludlow and Croft Castle readily accessible.

Have stayed here many times over the last 10 years and happy to say standards remain as high as ever. The buildings are very old and presumably listed. However the rooms have been superbly and sympathetically turned into luxury rooms. Service from check-in through to breakfast remains of a very high standard. Thank you Willem and Tomaz and the waiting staff. Breakfast was excellent and served in the superb dining room. Hope to visit again and enjoy dinner here.

A unique boutique hotel/restaurant well off the beaten track. in beautiful countryside. Ideal for relaxing away from the crowds. Perfect cycling country (if you don't mind a few hills!). They couldn't have been more accommodating and the food was excellent.

ODL never lets us down. Over the years we have been many times both as a couple and taking all our family. This time I celebrated a significant birthday with 12 family members by taking over ODL for the weekend. As always Willem was on hand to welcome everyone and make sure all was well. Throughout our stay the staff couldn’t have been more attentive without being in any way intrusive. The chef excelled as we have come to expect, and wine flowed on cue. ODL’s rooms are beautifully appointed, clean and comfortable. We have no reservations in recommending ODL to anyone wanting a first class experience whether for a meal or a stay.
