Avoid! Avoid! Avoid! Avoid! The following hotel experience was the most absurd and life-threatening experience of my trip to Xinjiang, and indeed my entire life. Avoid this hotel! 1. The hotel is listed as a local four-star hotel, but the service is nothing compared to the price of over 1,000 yuan a night. Building 9, which was renovated in 2024, had very low occupancy the day we checked in. Our room was the only one with the lights on that night. The room was very small, and the smell of the decor was still permeable. The bedside table was especially bad. In the early morning, I experienced eye discomfort and sneezing. My companion, even more seriously, had a rapid heartbeat and palpitations. We went to the hospital for emergency treatment. Although the hotel claimed their formaldehyde test report was acceptable, we all know that formaldehyde evaporates slowly over years, and with Xinjiang's summer temperatures, the release is significant. I just checked the hotel reviews and saw one comment about the decor smell. Avoid this if you have elderly or children. Formaldehyde and toluene are irreversible. My companion and I still have sore throats! 2. While the symptoms were present, the staff were there for us, but they didn't coordinate to get us to the hospital in a timely and effective manner. We had to wait outside the hotel for nearly 20 minutes, constantly making phone calls and reporting. If it had been another elderly person or someone suffering from an acute illness, this would have definitely delayed critical care time. For a four-star hotel, the safety and health emergency coordination was abysmal, leaving us feeling completely insecure. They didn't even have a makeshift emergency vehicle, and we were only a 5-minute drive from the nearest health station. This clearly shows the hotel's management and emergency response procedures are truly worrying. After we were treated at the hospital, we couldn't drive back to the hotel and called for someone to pick us up. The front desk told us to call 110 and the police to take us back. After repeated requests, someone from the hotel finally arrived to take us back in our car. 3. The next day, we were utterly exhausted at the hotel. No staff member came to check on us. There was no takeout near the scenic area, so we were hungry all day. The hotel, perhaps fearing liability and fearing a negative review, refused to extend our stay, saying they had no rooms. We were rushed out before either of us had recovered. The hotel manager, Mr. Zhu, said we would be evicted if we didn't leave (we have a video recording of this, which will be posted on Xiaohongshu and other platforms). By this time, we had already seen rooms available on Ctrip and had successfully paid for them, but Mr. Zhu refused us check-in, claiming they hadn't received the booking. We then called Ctrip customer service and waited three hours for a response! The entire process was handled without any explanation or clarification from the hotel manager. I called Mr. Zhu, and he replied that they had done everything they could and had done it perfectly. If you believe there was formaldehyde or other hazardous substances in our room, please provide evidence. Your room time is up, and if you don't leave within the allotted time, we'll vacate it! This wave of pressure has put us, the outsiders, under immense pressure. We can only suffer in silence. Connecting to the evidence collection platform takes time, so they're convinced we don't have that kind of time. Forget it, we're just out for some fun! But the bottom line is, regardless of whether the formaldehyde issue actually exists, Hongfu Hotel's emergency response plan and subsequent human care for guests who felt unwell were woefully poor. This also reflects poorly on the service, good and evil, morality, and social responsibility behind the best four-star hotels in the area. This is worth pondering, so we can avoid pitfalls and pitfalls. Travel should be truly enjoyable, not just self-defeating and unfair! Service: Training is needed! Highly recommended, it feels like home, and the breakfast is rich in variety

For those who have some requirements for accommodation and don't want to stay in a wooden house, the resort hotel here is still worth it. The hardware and service are still better. After all, it is newly renovated, so I am quite satisfied with it. The hotel delivers fruit platters every day and provides one-to-one butler service. If you don't want to eat breakfast too early, you can make a butler reservation. It is worth recommending!

The room was very nice. It was our stopover on the Kanas trip. The staff was very welcoming, the room was clean, and we could see marmots. I especially want to thank Aunt Lei, who was very, very welcoming and took the initiative to carry our luggage for us. We even let her eat breakfast even though we didn't have it! I like this aunt very much!
