During a family self-driving trip along the Yili Loop at the end of July 2023, I checked into the Sailimu Lake Scenic Area one night and chatted with tourists from Shanghai. I learned about this B&B and it has been a favorite of mine ever since. Two years later, I visited Xinjiang again and chose Altay and Kanas as my first stop. This hotel, which runs from Altay City to Hemu Scenic Area and then to Kanas, is the most expensive of the three hotels, but it is also the most worthwhile. Here are a few reasons why it is worth it: 1️⃣The hotel is only about 30 meters away from the Guanyutai, a must-see attraction in Kanas Scenic Area, and it can be reached after a 2-3 minute walk. Guests staying in the hotel can enjoy a private exclusive space from 7pm to 10am the next day, saving time for queuing and climbing stairs 2️⃣The hotel will pick up people from the transfer center with a pickup truck to a place about 200 meters away from the hotel, and then use the hotel's own horse team to pull people and carry goods to the hotel. The ride takes about five minutes; if you really don't want to ride a horse, you can also walk, and the walking time is definitely less than five minutes. You can pick up and drop off up and down the mountain. In addition to saving time and eliminating the trouble of queuing, you can also experience off-road and horseback riding for free 3️⃣The breakfast is much richer than I thought, with red dates and millet porridge plus various side dishes, buns and beef, etc. If it is not enough, you can add it for free, which is definitely full and delicious; there are two tables of midnight snacks when checking in, and I heard that the guests praised the chef's skills. Looking at the comments of previous guests, it seems that the chef has good skills and a kind heart! 4️⃣ I took photos of the starry sky and the Milky Way at 2 a.m. The hotel service guy said that you can take photos of the aurora in August, and you can take photos of rainbows and sea of clouds after the rain. It is super friendly to lovers of wild luxury. 5️⃣ The hotel toiletries are very good. The service staff set up a group to provide service before check-in. They are warm and thoughtful. If the hotel has vacancies, they will take the initiative to upgrade the rooms of some guests. It is very good.

The environment is really amazing. It is safe to ride a horse up the mountain. There is an exclusive viewing platform, welcome fruits and snacks. We upgraded a room. The service staff are very warm and thoughtful.

This is the ceiling of Kanas's homestay! I booked it several times and finally got it! The road was arduous to climb to the top of the mountain. The room was intimate, clean and comfortable, warm, and the bedding was very comfortable! Full of high-end feeling! The front desk butler service was very considerate and patient with the children! Excellent!
