Homestay at the foot of Beishan Mountain in Burqin

1. The hotel is in a good location. It is a good place to rest for one night after coming out of Kanas and continue the next journey. Burqin is very clean and beautiful, and it is worth transiting; 2. The room facilities are good. It is very new and has a parent-child room with a 1.5m bed and a 1.3m bed, which is very close to life; 3. The boss lady is very nice. She gives welcome gifts when you come and welcome gifts when you leave. She is hardworking and capable. In summary, it is a must-pass place for entering and exiting Kanas and Hemu.

It was a very good stay experience. Burqin is really a treasure town. It is a must-go place on the way to Hemu. There are many delicious restaurants. I've been hesitant about how to rate this review, but I've decided to be honest. Positives: The location is good, only about ten minutes' walk to Burqin Plum. The hotel is at the innermost corner of the Wucai River, making it relatively quiet at night. The hotel is generally clean and warm, and you can tell it's been thoughtfully decorated. The staff are also friendly and offered to upgrade my room. The pillows are comfortable, and the bedding is acceptable. Negatives: The housekeeping was spotty. There was a piece of used dental floss on the sofa by the entrance, which I tossed without making a fuss. The air conditioning, however, was a mere decoration; it didn't cool, heat, or blow air! I raised the issue with the air conditioning when I checked in that afternoon, but they told me that other rooms had it working, while ours didn't. I was in a hurry to leave, so I didn't ask again, hoping to fix it later. When I returned that night, I opened the door and the room was stuffy. I turned on the cooling, and after showering, it was still unbearably hot. By the time we went to bed, both of us were sweating. My best friend went to the front desk to ask, and the young waitress who came in said she'd find someone to fix it. An older woman came and explained to us that if we set the Haier air conditioner to cool, all rooms would have to be cooled. If one room was set to heat, the air conditioner would be blocked in all rooms. I've never heard of this in my 40 years. She told us to sleep with the window open. We were two women, and our room faced the road. While it wasn't a main road, it was still unsafe. She set the air conditioner to natural airflow, but it automatically shut off within ten minutes. I was speechless. I asked her for an explanation and contacted the owner. She said she would explain and contacted the owner the next day. We said we were leaving at 8 a.m., and she told us to get some rest. We slept like in Figures 3 and 4 for the whole night, and in the middle of the night, a mosquito in the room was so hot under the covers, and without covering myself, I was going to get bitten to death. It was outrageous! I've stayed in so many B&Bs in Jiangsu, Zhejiang, Shanghai, Fujian, and Taiwan, and this is the first time I've seen one without even a basic amenity like air conditioning. I can't give it a good review! This is not the room I deserved after spending over 1,000 yuan! Those who need air conditioning (whether cooling or heating) should avoid lightning!
