Sea view apartment is great

Unable to book a deluxe apartment as we have done before at Gemini Court (we have stayed in some very nice well-maintained apartments here) we booked a “Standard” apartment. Appreciating that this apartment would not be to the same standard as a Deluxe apartment we were , however, expecting something much better than it was. Apartment 39 in the South Tower is extremely “Sub Standard” to say the least. It is apparent that the owner has failed to maintain this property. Definitely well-below par even for a “Standard” level - see photos.

This is a great block of units to stay. Management are more than helpful and accommodating. The complex has great facilities including indoor pool, spas, bbq area with sunny seating and a great outdoor pool. Apartments are directly across the road from the beautiful Burleigh Beach. You can literally walk everywhere, the surf club, Pavillion, top restaurants, supermarket and cafes. The fresh food markets every Saturday morning in the Burleigh Public School are amazing. This is a fantastic place to stay.

Oh wow... I have stayed here about 8+ times now and I can't wait to get back there again!! I love love love the pool area (many hours lazing here!) and the close proximity to the beach, pub and James Street shopping precinct. I love the easy walk to the little cafe on the esplanade for a coffee or brekky, the hut BBQ area by the pool, and how the owners look after every question or need for an extra bit of milk!! What a great experience... I'm already booked in again for my next visit!

I have been coming to 2nd Avenue annually since I was a young child (I am 38 now, so over 30 years). Sadly, my April visit will be my last. This place has been gradually deteriorating over the years, however this time it was just a complete joke. We rented two units, so the whole family could come. The ”newly furnished” executive apartments, were complete with torn carpets, a saggy, sticky, severely stained lounge, dirty walls, sticky tiles and mouldy bathrooms, to name a few highlights. The Wifi was patchy, at best. One unit could not access it at all. When we reported this to reception, they could not have cared less. They have always been very polite and friendly over the years, and at this point they seem to have just given in to the fact that the place is falling down around them and will be sold off as residential. I feel for them, but they are still taking the tourist dollar, so a little hospitality is expected. We booked over a year in advance and at the time we were told that there would be some renovations and there may be some minor inconveniences, but no significant disturbances to our holiday. The day before we checked in, we were informed that the entire ground floor was not accessible, and that access was in and out of the basement, meaning to use the indoor pool, you had to walk out onto the street, to the esplanade and enter through there; not ideal with small children and when it rained for most of the week. We were also informed that the indoor pool was closed every weekday until 4pm; in school holidays!! The BBQ area was destroyed and none of the facilities were available. The spa was freezing for the entire week we were there. Each time we asked, we were given a different excuse. The noise from the construction was deafening. This cannot be helped, and I understand this, but it needs to be noted. There are 2 other high rises going up, one which is directly in front of 2nd Avenue, so the spectacular views will be gone very soon, just putting the final nail in the coffin for us. Goodbye 2nd Avenue. It's time for us to find a new home.

Stayed in a one bedroom apartment for two nights but wished it was longer. Fantastic large room with full kitchen and all amenities you could want. Clean and comfortable with the most amazing view over the beach. Would definitely recommend.

We have now stayed at Le Beach quite a few times and it never disappoints. The location is perfect for the beach, shops, surf clubs, bars and restaurants, all an easy walk. The grounds are immaculately kept by Steve, and it is clear he takes pride in the property. The team at reception are so friendly and helpful, you want just to pop in to say hi as you're going past. The apartments themselves are perfect for couples or families. Whenever we have stayed the guests have always been respectful with the noise. The ability to self-cater is a game changer and the communal bbq's are always clean, and a great place to meet other guests over a beer. This place for us is truly 10/10

We stayed for 10 days in a 2 bedroom apar**ent in this perfectly placed apar**ent building. Its a reasonably new building and we usually stay at Broadbeach so new for us! The apar**ent was well equip but we would have liked a few more plates as you have to wash them after each meal by hand, not enough to start the dishwasher. The position is perfect if you like to wander into the main ***** and eat out (we do) and there are many lovely restaurants about a 5 minute walk away. The girls on the desk were so incredibly helpful, wasn't a thing they wouldn't do for you. The apar**ent is very spacious and as we were travelling with our daughter and one grandchild there was plenty of room for toys and gear you need when you travel with littlies. The pool area is lovely but a little on the small side in school holidays as it fills up quite easily when there are a few families in residence. on the whole we had a very positive experience and loved most things about the place, would definitely stay here again!
