Clean and tidy site. friendly staff. Both in reception and the restaurant. Looking forward to a few days here and a meal tonight here in the restaurant. Good to be here . Lots of good walking around here. Arrived in high winds and helped find a good spot. As a solo woman feels safe

Acceptable site just but quite tired and very busy for touring pitches when we were there in early June (which probably explains why they get away with charging 27 euro with ACSI (33 without) Grass pitches with a lot of trees so could find shade but looked like they got quite muddy in heavy rain Amenities were tired and needed major update but were kept reasonably clean Hot water in showers and washing up areas was intermittent WiFi didn’t work which for the price charged was annoying Pool was empty which again they happy to charge but not provide the facilities. Been on better sites in Spain and paid only 17 euro

City centre municipal campsite and good location for walking into the city along the river path. Not sure you would want to stay for long but good base to visit the city from . Facilities are not nearly as bad as described in other reviews - functional and clean ... saw them being cleaned twice a day. Copious hot water for shower and washing up. Pitches a tad uneven but it has been a bad winter and it rained very heavily during my stay. Cafe at entrance looks quite intimidating ( it was very full of locals so that says something ) had a lovely meal and staff there are in campsite delightful. .

Very basic pitches not clearly marked and very uneven. Reception lady very welcoming but bar area mostly male orientated and wrong drinks given and I would think it may have made a less travelled person intimated. Facilities very tired but hot water

I agree with other campers that have commented on the filthy dirty sanitation blocks! The two female blocks I went inside are in a total state of disrepair and a risk to Public Health. This campsite is utterly appalling and I’m amazed that the ACSI inspector rates it fit to use! If this site was in the UK I’d be informing the local Environmental Health department of the insanitary conditions.

I had 2 nights here on the way to catch the Bilbao ferry. Good amenities although things need replacing - our EHU only had 2 out of 3 sockets working. Decent restaurant here too. Cycling in to Burgos very easy on a traffic free bike track passing just outside the front gate.

We've seen some pretty dire reviews of this campsite and nearly stayed away. Having arrived, we'd like to set the record straight. The site is welcoming, well-managed, mostly shady and well placed for travelling into Burgos. The facilities are well-used and could do with renovation, but they are clean, well-serviced and more than adequate. Glad we came!
