Traditional, friendly and family-run hotel in a central location. Comfortable and with all amenities yet like going back in time as the hotel has so much character. Easy walking distance from bus and train stations. A friendly welcome and a greeting whenever we passed reception. Plenty of places to eat nearby and also a small supermarket. Not particularly quiet, as people roaming the streets throughout the night, but that is offset by the central location and good double glazing.

I have been in this hotel and i definitely recommend it. The price-quality is very good, the staff is very frindely and kind and the location is very good but quiet at night. The decoration and old style design is cool. At breakfast i arrive after the schedule but the staaf allow me to have it, a very positive attitude that shows the commitment with the client. I will come back.

Well yes of course the rooms are from the 1970s. Dated is an understatement…but for £60 a night you have to see the funny side of it! Right in the centre of town. Great period building with proper old school reception. Literally a time warp. Great fun!

Wouldn’t choose again. The rooms were very outdated and weird looking. The breakfast was very basic, nothing special. There was no sound cancelling in the rooms, which was upsetting because we could hear everything. On a positive note,it was very clean and in great location

We booked this hotel because of its central location which was great but that’s about all it has going for it. The reception area is nice and the staff very helpful but the room is a letdown, they have polished wooden floors which squeaked with every step you make and the bed head banged on the wall with even the slightest movement. The noise from outside in the Plaza went on most of the night finally quieting down about 5am. We had paid extra to have a continental breakfast which was the worst I have ever had, there was a tea/coffee machine but the water was only lukewarm, the guy who’d showed us to our table was nowhere to be seen, so we couldn’t do anything about it, the cheese and ham was lovely but the crusty bread was pre-cut and was far too think. The yogurts were acceptable, the orange juice ok but the croissant and pan au chocolate were stale and dry and totally inedible. I feel we should not have had to pay for breakfast but was so disillusioned with it all I couldn’t face complaining about it.

having hiked in on the Camino and booking what i thought would be a step up form the hostals of the previous few days very disappointed with this hotel-the location is very good ad central but that is the only positive thing i have to say about the hotel-rooms and bathroooms looked like they had not been updated since the 1950's-
