Enjoying Izustarri these past few days has been an unforgettable experience. Without a doubt, the perfect place to end my trip to the Philippines. From the rooms to the location, it makes you not want to leave. A special mention to the owners, Borja and Dafne; they're charming and make you feel right at home. I can't wait to return!

Terrible service. From the room to the dining room, it's 600 meters along a concrete walkway with terrible slopes, and in the wet and at night, you risk your life. In the dining room itself, there's a gasoline-powered generator, as if you were dining next to a truck. Horrible! They ask for a 7,000 peso deposit, which after deducting what they think is necessary, they return the rest... imagine what the bill looks like... You're trapped in the middle of nowhere, and obviously a prisoner of their services... for example, if it rains, the kitchen closes (at 7:00 PM), so you're left without dinner. Although it's one of the most expensive hotels in Siargao, they don't even make up your room, towels, or anything. You pay luxury prices for the Philippines and get backpacker hostel services. The worst experience in two months of traveling in the Philippines. For half the price you have hotels in General Luna where you will be treated with care and like royalty, and to visit the north of the island, which I do recommend, by motorcycle or taxi it will take an hour.
