Cannot fault the Roselawn. Other than the feeling that as soon as you walk through the door you are stepping into a Time Machine, the rooms were clean and tidy and the service was fantastic. I personally recommend the room I stayed in. The leopard print bedding was a sweet touch. The breakfast was lovely, especially their poached eggs *chefs kiss*. The evening meal was above adequate if you like something cheap and cheerful. The pubs nearby are an “experience”.

Stayed here last week and was soo impressed I’m currently staying here. One night this week. The staff are super friendly and helpful. The breakfast is beautifully cooked and presented, lots of choice too included in the room rate. Bar is a bit basic but is adequate. Evening menu is very reasonably priced. All in all it’s definitely worth the money. I would definitely book again.

Real gem and the staff really make it. To be honest it’s really dated, typical 70’s bed and breakfast. The place is spotless, the staff are very friendly, warm and welcoming. Breakfast is cooked freshly. Great location as well, 20 mins from Theale, 15 from reading. If you are working at AWE Burghfield then 2 mins.

Made a fairly random choice, trying to avoid the local services or premier inns. Turned out to be a great little hotel (note - not a ‘motel’ type offering). Room was clean and warm, and had a quiet nights sleep. The shower was up to the job, and the little gels provided were surprisingly good. I had a well cooked dinner in the small restaurant: all the items tasted of good quality - much the same as with the excellent cooked breakfast. All the staff i encountered were very friendly. The decor, with a number of old paintings, is understated and tasteful. None of your overly modern tat. All in all an excellent experience, and happy to recommend to all.
