We recently spent 3 nights at this hotel, staying in room18 ( Alpin suite), with separate living and sleeping area, as well as a balcony. The hotel is located in Central Burg, next to St Nicholai Church and has its own parking area, which is available free of charge for guests. It has been owned for over 50 years bÿ the Wolf family and has recently undergone extensive renovation. The result is most impressive:attractive, well-equipped guest rooms, as well relaxing communal areas. The breakfast room has a bow-shaped outer wall.overlooking a garden, where guests have a choice of a vaste display og cold meats , smoked fish, cheeses, freshly baked bread and croissants , fruit juices coffee and tea. Staff are friendly and helpful and are well-trained to provide efficient service to the guests; business travellers, couples on holiday, as well as families with young children. A selection of tourist brochures is available in the reception area.

Das Hotel ist modern und sehr geschmackvoll gestaltet, ebenso das unlängst renovierte Zimmer. Leider wurde bei der telefonischen Buchung nicht kommuniziert, daß unser Zimmer direkt zur sehr stark befahrenen Straße ausgerichtet ist. Bei geschlossenem Fenster hätte durch die sehr guten Schallschutzfenster der Straßenlärm nicht gestört, aber durch die Hitze im Zimmer hatte man die freie Wahl, ob man wegen unerträglicher Temparatur oder Krach (auch viele Lkw's und Traktoren) nicht schlafen kann. Obwohl es sich um ein 4-Sterne-Haus handelt, hat das südostseitige Zimmer (direkte Morgensonne) weder eine abschirmende Außenjalousie noch eine Klimaanlage! Da das Hotel ausgebucht war, gab es leider auch keine Wechselmöglichkeit. Das durchwegs sehr freundliche Personal und die Möglichkeit, das gute, aber nicht herausragende Frühstück im rückseitig gelegenen Garten einzunehmen, konnte diesen gravierenden Mangel nicht ausgleichen. Bei unserer Abreise waren wir deshalb leider alles andere als erholt.

Mein Mann und ich hatten zwei Nächte zum relaxen um mal dem Corona Stress in der Stadt zu entgehen. Der Saunabereich in der Burg Klause ist schön, drei Saunen, muss man sich derzeit anmelden damit nicht zuviele Leute auf einmal drin sind, hat alles gut funktioniert. Das Zimmer, Alpin Style, fast neu und hat mir sehr gefallen in Grün und Grautönen, Bad Top modern. Service im Haus so wie er sein soll, unaufdringlich, mit Herz, nicht aufgesetzt. Frühstück mit Weißwurst war super. Abendessen war mir persönlich zuviel Masse statt Klasse auf dem Teller, den Weißwein gern zwei Grad Kühler servieren. Sonst alles Bingo.
