Bourbong St Motel

The motel was in a convenient location for what I need to do. The motel is old and needs up-dating. The staff were polite.

Unfortunately our stay here wasn’t fabulous at all. Our first unprofessional interaction with the manager really set the tone. The air con leaked/dripped onto the front doormat making it impossible to come and go without walking through a soggy may and being dripped on, the dead lock was missing, there was no PowerPoints or bedside tables beside the bed, the curtains were filthy, the carpets were so dirty and stained leaving our feet black, the internal doors could not close or be pinned back due to the bed being in the way, the curtains in the 2nd bedroom were insufficient, the shower had mould, the pillows were absolutely putrid, the mattress and pillow protectors (where there were any) were stained, the mattress’ themselves had stains, there was rubbish and cleaning rags left from the previous guests and “cleaner,” the manager was unable to be contacted after hours even though there was an after hours number and bell displayed on the window of reception. We payed over 200/night for this accomodation and if there was anything else available we would have moved. We were only offered 50% off our next stay. Sorry…….there will never be another stay.

This Motel was just Disgusting. You should be Embarrassed to represent this Motel.

This was a cheap hotel however still overpriced in my opinion there was mould in the shower and the towels were stained. The power points did not work in the bathroom or the one behind the bed so I had to unplug the fridge to charge my phone. My room was above the smoking area not an issue for me as I smoke however was noisy. The tv worked and the toilet flushed, the cafe next door (a place to eat) was really good food and coffee and open super early. Easy walking distance to the tattoo shop and great if you like kfc it’s just next door and all you can smell. The owner was friendly and polite however I would not stay here again.

Old toilet paper and tooth picks etc behind the toilet door. Mould on the bathroom and toilet roof. Beds old and broken, sloping down so sleeping wasn’t possible. Old, dirty and unkept. Sleeping in car would have been cleaner and more comfortable. Don’t waste money.

Night 2 in Bundaberg , checked out of the Riviera Motel , Dump number one , hoping to find something a bit better for night 2 , $99 , it said on the board on the footpath . But I was charged $129 . I realised later, is this guy joking ? That is surely unlawful , must check with consumer affairs. All the rooms looked equal ??? Just another dump Motel that needs bulldozing or turning into a backpackers. Noisy fridge , had to turn it off , noisy air con . So many notices on the wall under the tv it looked like a supermarket notice board , zero style going on here. Repeat on the back of the door. Another ugly bathroom in need of a total refurb. Not happy about the rip off , was he waiting for me to say ‘hey I want the advertised price on the street ‘? SNEAKY , will I return ? , NEVER . Not to be recommended.
