The room was clean with a modern decor and a lovely bright renovated bathroom but this was not the 'hotel' I thought I'd booked - it was a motel and the location was very noisy at times. There was parking directly outside our room - convenient but noisy when people were leaving early. The window was directly next to the driveway to the rooms at the back and our room was two doors up from the drive through bottle shop. The complex is also immediately next to the actual hotel/pub, which had loud music pumping out until 11pm (normal for a Saturday but I wouldn't have booked here if I'd known). The building is also old (70s/80s?) and wasn't constructed with good noise mitigation - so we could hear people showering, using the toilet and shutting doors in the rooms above and next door. The owners have done what they can and the bedroom and en suite were spotlessly clean, bed was firm, sheets were clean but it wasn't the hotel experience we were expecting.
