This resort is a fantastic quaint location that has a lovely beach with stylish cottages. Sarah (owner), Andrew (manager), and all the staff are lovely and made us feel welcome. Collectively, they were very willing to accommodate our trips to Tangkoko Reserve, dolphin tour, and multiple snorkeling trips. The food was fantastic. Over 7 days, we were never served a repeat lunch or dinner and the meals were delicious. There were six in our party and we all loved this place. I hope to return and will highly recommend this resort to friends and family. A truly wonderful week.

I went for a diving holiday with some friends and, both the diving and the resort, had been great experiences. I must say, first of all, Sarah is a very nice person, very careful, very attentive to all the different needs of her guests. We all loved her lovely food: fresh veggies, amazing fish, specials with spices… The cottages are simple but very nice and comfortable. We almost didn’t realize we had no electricity during daytime. All the employees are very nice too! We all left the island plenty of peace and beauty. We all would love to come back asap!

This was my second time staying at Bobocha Resort, and once again, it was an unforgettable experience. Where to start?? Should we begin with how breathtakingly beautiful this island is… the clarity of the water, the calm serenity of the beach, the spectacular and healthy coral reef just steps from shore? Or should we start with how genuinely friendly and helpful the staff is—how absolutely welcoming Sarah and her wonderful team are, making every guest feel like family? Should we begin with the food—rich, flavorful, and diverse—where every meal was a celebration of culture and taste? Or maybe with the sunsets, which came each evening like an explosion of color across the sky? What about the snorkeling—an experience as magical as it was unforgettable—or the professionalism and warmth of the boat and dive operators? Every day felt like a gift, wrapped in beauty, kindness, and adventure. The dining table was a place of connection, where people from all over the world came together, bound by a shared love for nature and exploration. This place is truly unique, truly magical. And if there’s only one thing we can tell you, it’s this: Go there!

We recently stayed at this hotel and enjoyed some positive aspects. The house reef is absolutely beautiful, and the beach is well-maintained and clean. The food was also quite tasty, and the staff tried their best to make our stay pleasant, though there were a few issues with the overall experience. Unfortunately, we found the atmosphere to be a bit strange and unwelcoming. The staff seemed distant at times, almost as though they were unsure how to interact with guests. We noticed that when staff members were not busy raking the beach, they were often hard to find when we needed assistance, which left us feeling a bit disconnected. Another downside was the pricing, as mentioned by other reviewers here, which felt excessive for some services, particularly things like boat transfers and a rushed 10-min dive refresher for the price of a full dive. On Sundays, when the public boat service isn’t available, the hotel seemed to take advantage of the lack of alternatives by charging insane rates for transfers to the mainland. To make matters worse, when we were leaving, one staff member attempted to convince us to cancel our Grab ride in favor of a much more expensive taxi from his personal contact. This left us with a bad impression. Despite these issues, we still appreciated the beautiful location and the hard work of the staff. However, we left feeling that the experience was overpriced for what we received. It didn’t quite live up to the warm and welcoming Indonesian hospitality we've come to cherish, and unfortunately, we felt as though we were being treated more like walking wallets than valued guests.

We had a fantastic time during our stay! The location was amazing and close proximity to some of the best world snorkelling and diving spots ever. The accommodation was clean, comfortable, and beautifully designed. There was wifi in the rooms too, which was great. The host, Sarah was great, friendly, helpful and spoke English very well. Thank you!

Very nice and cosy resort with cosy rooms, beautiful views, friendly staff, impressive local house reef and amazing food served on the beach. But - too expensive for what you get. Should be 30-40% cheaper than currently priced compared to Indonesian prices. No drinks included, extra breakfast dishes than the one included cost extra, 10-15 min. transport to mainland by shared speedboat costs 1.200.000(!) IDR +tax, etc. So all in all really nice but too expensive.
