The hotel facilities are relatively old, the furniture in the room is too dark, it's frightening, and it's depressing to walk into the room. The location of the hotel is relatively remote, 5 kilometers away from the shopping mall, which is inconvenient.

Good side:
1) Strategic location for food and meeting customers near Bukit Mertajam.
2) Price lower than Citadines (same building)
3) Got washing machine.
Neutral side: Self check in
Bad side:
1) Found fire ants (got bitten and caused bad inflammation) every days.
2) Reported the fire ants but nothing was don't for 2 days (stayed 5D4N) till I ask for solution.
3) Service is bad, didn't even apologise after I tell them the problem and also reminded them that they didn't 'courtesily apologise'.
4) The gym is just an old gym rack which is spoilt and few treadmill.
Conclusion, won't go again unless they change their behaviour.

First time lodged in the hotel. Surprised that the room is not small compared to other budget hotel at the similar price. Room was big, clean and staff was friendly. Aircond is of bigger size and works perfectly for me. Excellence budget hotel for business travellers that aim for clean, cheap, friendly and nice location!

The hall is clean and welcoming. And with a hawker food centre next to it, everything seems good. However there is no free parking at the front of the hotel but you can park for free at a nearby basement car park (ask receptionist for direction). We were given a corner room, and once I opened the door and on the light, I was shocked to see cockroaches crawling out from underneath the bed and back again! Didn’t have good night sleep for consecutive 2 days. My friends in the other room also felt uncomfortable for the 2 nights. Maybe the room is rather small for 2 pax. The pleasant thing is the Bosses Cafe next to the hotel offers very good coffee and desserts.

The whole is clean and the waiter is friendly. But the toilet is not separated from wet and dry, and some rooms are allowed to smoke, so there is some smoke. There is a food court nearby, and there is a stall of chicken rice that is delicious.

You will be surprised with the deco in the villa. A lot of plant and nice deco in the villa itself just like enter a theme hotel. Room is clean and nice for the short trip in BM. A villa that worth to try which you will want to extend your stay here

GGuest UserWith the price I paid, I'm totally satisfied with everything, water heater in good condition, air cond running smoothly, 2 toilet paper provided with 2 small bar soap..the room and bathroom is clean, kiblat direction, beddings necessities quite comfortable. I just hope the hotel can add more details on their site, mine don't have windows but no complain since we stay for short time. Iron and drinking water provided at the stairs.

NNorshahida63Check in on saturday,quite late check in and hotel seems not so busy. Room was okay and toilet was clean but there's leftover drinks with plastic inside the mini bar. Supervisor didnt check the room properly. Hope management will take actions and housekeeping supervisor double check the room before let the guest checking in.

- Price (3.5/5): Value for money and worth it for couples, a bit pricey for a solo traveller. - Room (4.5/5): Comfortable bed, quiet, I slept and rested really well, lovely view, table, chair, good air conditioning, (there was a red floor stain under the chair which irked me a bit, so i covered it with a towel). Otherwise the room was well renovated. Many lights from bright to dim. The whole place is uniquely designed. - Shower (4.5/5): Clean, good pressure, hot water, comfortable. Shower was leaking a bit even after turning it off. - Wifi (3/5): Good on check in, didn't work the next morning. -Location (3.5/5): 7-15 min drive from St Anne Minor Basilica and Bukit Mertajam Park depending on traffic. You will need a car to move around. Not walkable to old town or new town/nearest cinema (Get a Grab if you are car-less). - Free car park (should be sufficient - at least 8 available in front of the hotel and many more near the restaurant opposite). - The small two way road this hotel is along is always jammed , even after peak hours as it links to Kulim or another town I believe (correct me if I'm wrong), so it was a little annoying to cross the road as drivers don't really give way.

CchewkimsoonI stayed for 2 nights in Feb20 as I needed to attend a wake/funeral nearby. So my needs were rather basic - a clean bed (checked), clean shower (checked) and security (security). Located in a rather new development, it is a nice cosy hotel with 3 floors. The building was built for commercial purposes - like eateries, pubs, offices, and there were plenty of these nearby. The carpark is in the middle of the stretch of road between the 2 banks of buildings and it fills up very quickly. The things that I found lacking were: (1) only 1 power point in the whole room. Luckily, I brought a multi-plug charger. Clearly inadequate for modern lifestyle where you have more electrical appliances, like laptops, hair dryers. (2) No kettle or fridge (at least in Room 208). I can accept the lack of a fridge but no kettle to boil water was a surprise. Coupled with the fact there is only one convenience shop in the whole vicinity (and note it is not 24 hours), it is a major letdown. (3) The hot water in the bath takes too long to warm up, like after 5 minutes of water flowing (such a waste). In the long run, the high water wastage will add up. (4) the carpets in the corridors were stained and needed cleaning. It is a new hotel and the corridors is the first impression to all visitors. Overall, my needs for this trip were basic as I was hardly in the room, except to sleep and bathe, but the hotel can do better.

MMCLee RichardSupposed to be NON Smoking but the room allocated was full of cigarette smell . Rules are not implemented as we found there are guests smokhang inside the room and at first floor lobby as well.
There isn't double layer curtain blinds except the thick curtain so you can't open the thick curtain as others can see through the window .
There isn't any any shower door except a very fragile/ thin layer of cheap plastic screen that could not prevent the water from spilling towards the bathroom door and flooding the whole floor that has made it very slippery.
Towet rack is installed too high , you may find it difficult to reach.
TV reception is so poor you couldn't tell which channel or program is playing.
Overall ,room is clean but others are disappointing and room rate is expensive.
Will not recommend anyone to stay .

LLim Hsien HuiThe hotel is strategically located in Bukit Mertajam. The staffs are friendly and helpful. The room is clean with all the necessary basic amenities. Disposable toothbrush is even provided. It is a good hotel to stay just to bunk in for a good night sleep.

Sslengkmy husband and i chose to stay here because it is within walking distance to a bridal studio that we were engaged with. it is an average, small room with not much room for walking after we put 2 luggages on the floor. cleanliness is okay. not many tv channels. there is a water station outside our room. shower head water pressure is a little low. the knob (not sure if this is what you call it), which you pull to turn on the water doesnt indicate the temperature but rather the water pressure. if you turn it to your left, the water gets little. ifyou turn it to your right, it comes down in torrents. i find it weird and off bcz that is not how the water knob works. receptionist works almost at a snail-like pace. breakfast is a simple set of eggs and bread in different cooking way. but there is a cafe downstairs which serves better breakfast that what the hotel can offer. however, that will cost more. we paid about RM50 for a breakfast there on our first day. there is a kopitiam nearby, serving local food for breakfast n lunch. we had wantan mee there on our second day which costs only RM10 for 2 pax. hailing rides are easy so you can either rent a car to drive around or just call for Grab.
