We traveled with my wife and the kids (8 years old) the first week of February, passing through for a day on the way to the Atlantic Coast. We chose the hotel because of its location, to take kids to see the Children's Museum. Very hot day!! lobby was an oven, doors open to Corriente Street and its characteristic infernal noise!! Room: quite spacious, clean, but with furniture, curtains and bedspreads from another era (old), which gives the room a bad look. Bathroom: spacious, clean, with a large hydromassage bathtub, but with a plastic curtain (not a screen) when you showered the entire floor got wet. Breakfast: very little variety of options, rather a common breakfast, NOT a 5-star hotel breakfast, the trays were emptied quickly (there were many guests, mostly foreigners) and the waitresses took a while to replenish the food (more busy chatting among themselves behind the bar) Pool: I only went to see what it was like, very small and inappropriate for a high class hotel, with how hot it was, I counted 12 people inside and the truth is that there was no room for any more. Check out: it took us forever!! and they charged us for the garage, which they had not notified us before. The employees seem to work reluctantly, zero emotion!!! The truth is, it is no longer a 5 star hotel!! Hopefully it's a 3 star, it only has the memory of a better past left, a real shame.
