Disappointing Despite a lovely room & stunning views. Customer service was at a lower level than we expected & food wasn’t great. I’m sure there’s better within the Melia group. Be careful when leaving a car with them. Ours was damaged & reported. At no stage was there any possibility that they accept any responsibility, despite our insurance covering the dent. Despite reception having our keys and the car being in their care. Astonishing attitude from Management!

This was our second stay at this hotel. We enjoyed it as much as the first. All the staff were welcoming and pleasant. The grounds are well kept. Check in was easy and efficient. Our room was attractive, but with a limited view, and cleaned well every day. We were on a Bed and Breakfast basis and the breakfast was excellent with a wide range on offer. The afternoon tea and cake is a bonus which not many hotels have and there is a wide selection of books. The gardens are very well kept. The hotel is an old building and, although it's quiet overall, it's difficult to close the bedroom doors quietly from the corridor side which can be a problem at night. It is a 5 minute walk to the Buenavista Golf Club where we ate lunch. Parking at the hotel is easy. A couple of places worth driving to are Mesa del Mar, with waves crashing into the swimming pool, ( just over an hour away). Mirador El Lagarito and Restaurante Casa Mara (about 30 minutes drive) have great views above Garachico and the coast. Both drives are either 'interesting' or 'challenging' depending on your point of view!

Our stay at Hotel Hacienda del Conde was far from what we expected. The most disappointing aspect was, without a doubt, the food. The dishes lacked flavor, the quality was subpar, and the variety was very limited for a hotel of this category. On top of that, the service was slow and inattentive. On several occasions, we had to wait far too long to be served, and the staff seemed uninterested in providing a satisfactory experience. The lack of organization and professionalism was evident. It’s a shame that a place with so much potential neglects such essential aspects as gastronomy and customer service. We definitely would not recommend it or return.

We stayed at Hotel Hacienda del Conde expecting a luxury experience, but it was the complete opposite. The food was disappointing, with limited and low-quality options. The service was terrible: the staff seemed uninterested and unprofessional. To make matters worse, the room we were given had terrible views, nothing that justified the €300 per night we paid. We wouldn’t return or recommend it. A complete disappointment.

We expected much more from our stay at Hacienda del Conde, especially considering the €300 per night price. The room had disappointing views and a persistent musty smell that wasn’t resolved during our stay. The food was mediocre, far from what a hotel of this level should offer, and the service from the waitstaff was underwhelming—unattentive and careless. Definitely not worth the price.
