This hotel was great for our stay here in California. The room was spacious and clean and the bed was extremely comfortable after a long day out whether around Los Angeles or a 17 hour day in Disneyland. The fridge was great bigger than we expected. We managed to store lots of bottled water and a few 2L bottles of juices with all our yoghurts etc for the mornings and during the day. Fridge is a great size for trips to Target which is across the street less than 5 min walk. Bathroom and other parts in the room we couldn’t fault had everything we needed for our stay to make it comfortable. As we left they were re decorating the halls, apart from all of this we wish there was stairs to each floor instead of just getting the lift up as we were in the 3rd floor room 355. Stairs would have been nice inside the blocks as there is only a fire exit stairwell to leave the hotel you cannot get to your room via stairs. Also great for parking a hire car as this hotel doesn’t charge for overnight parking too one of the reasons we chose this as our main location to go back and forth from saving us $350/$400 compared to competitor hotels around LA.

I book the 2 Queen room and everything seem fine and quiet. However, I did have issue with the door not being open properly and the app on the tv not connecting, so I got to call the technician to come and fix it. Other than that, it a pretty good place to stay. Be aware though that they do charge $10 for parking. If don't charge for the parking, it would be much better.

Front desk gentleman was very polite. But! Towels all had black marks & were very dinghy. Bottom of my feet were filthy from dirty floor. Coffee maker in room with no cups. Black hairs in bathroom- maybe just a bad housekeeper???Advertised breakfast but only has coffee. Sign says due to Covid-19; it’s been 2 years- change your ad & stop misleading us. Bathroom drain smelled like a sewer. I won’t go back there.

We got there late due to LAX car rental taking 8 hrs (separate issue) and had to wait in the car because system was down or something to that effect. We were so exhausted so when we finally got to our room I was very frustrated. We were there 5mins and that room reales of smoke! I went all the way down to reception and asked if we can get a room change to which they replied “they are all non smoking but it’s still going to smell like smoke” I replied with “WOW” and front desk seemed embarrassed to which they offered to send house keeping to spray something to help with the odor. I agreed, went back to the room and house keeping knocks. “I don’t need service I just got here but if you can spray something for the odor that be great” I got “we don’t have anything to help with the odor” it was so lousy to be in that room you couldn’t sleep. My underage daughter and I kept coughing my asthma and bronchitis were acting up. We left to stay somewhere else. NEVER AGAIN

The exterior facade leads to disappointment for the room inside Its small with little walking space. As soon as I set down my bag on the bed i notice a cigarette burn-on the top sheet used as a cover/comforter! And then another and another!! So I ring the front desk for fresh, clean replacement of bedding. They arrive within 10-20 minutes , i thank them. I pull the raggedy ones off and now there are also cigarette burns on the sheets. I booked a non-smoking room. Hmmm? Now I’m trying to overlook the fact and reason that all guests aren’t cut of the same cloth and the bedding did look as if it stayed for another visit once the guests were gone. But now as i unfold the promptly delivered fresh set they are slso designed by cigarette burn holes!!! Having pulled the pillows away from the headboard I see some sort of streak across the headboard that house-keeping didn’t. Oi vey! Now I’m walking to fetch a hot soapy washcloth , it seemed laundrred, I mean it was folded. Now on the wall where the towels are stocked it looks like a bad wipe off the walls of blood splatter? No matter cuz even if it was hair dye or chocolate it shouldn’t be left for anyone to notice!!! I was shocked with an assumption that house-keeping needs better sanitation training. I wanted to check out to book hopefully a sanitary room from anther Hotel Motel Holiday Inn! But everyone was booked and there weren’t any within my meager limits. And I spent $100 on this booking! I should have taken pictures as proof of my remarks but i was just keeping my wits not to go off into my darkness. Well you can always go see for yourself! pon checking in, my family and I were greeted, acknowledged as Diamond Members, and welcomed back as returned guests. The staff was friendly and helpful. Our room and the rest of the hotel we saw, were clean and nice. We enjoyed our one-night stay and rested well. Fortunately, everyone we met was nice and helpful. I would suggest that when team members are discussing incidents involving other guests, they do so in their private office and not while at the front desk. As I entered the front desk area, a hotel team member was chatting with another speaking ill-will about her encounter with a difficult guest. She immediately stopped once she saw me, which was when I was at the desk already and heard enough. Thank you!

The most surprising thing is that the hotel lobby has 24 hours of free coffee and lemonade, which is very intimate for the dry Los Angeles. Stayed here for 3 nights because the bad reviews I read all had to do with them remodeling I called and asked them to put me in a remodeled room and was told it should be almost done when I came. There version of remodeling was a new mattress which was comfortable and painting (in bathroom going behind sink cabinet had a large patch job which was not painted). All the furniture was old with lots of wear on it. They took out the large bathroom sink counters and put in very small free standing vanity sink so there is no place to put stuff. The shower head is nice and high but there was no shelf to put your soap and shampoo/conditioner. I balance the soap on top of the shower frame (closing the toilet in case it fell) and put shampoo bottle on top of the towel on the towel bar. The site said they had a free hot breakfast but there was nothing the days I was there. Plenty of parking. Getting into the parking lot if you are coming from the south is hard because you have to cross a VERY busy 3 lane highway which also made for a noisy room because we were facing the highway. The staff was nice and if you are going to Knotts Berry Farm its a short walk.

Wow, i have to say after all the remodeling everything inside the rooms have been completly renovated, everything is completely brand new from the beds to the carpet...im a tv guy and the new 40” plasmas haanging on the wall are pretty nice with cable i can say ill start staying here more often ask for Hersh i think is how you spell it, hell give you the best deals guaranteed !!

Stayed for a month, the staff is super friendly, helpful and treats you like family. The wifi is average and not so great on weekends, but they buy up option helps a little. The ability to cook in your room saves a lot of money too. Beds were comfortable and their were plenty of Pillows. Onsite coin operated laundry is available. All in all a really nice place to stay and the neighborhood is quiet.

From The First Day Of My House Fire I Contacted State Farm With My Fire Claim My Agent Asked Me Where Do I Wanna Stay I Told The In La Mirada So I Had Too Choose Between 3 Hotels So I Visited All 3 Holiday Inn , Extended Inn Or Residence Inn So I Choose Residence Inn Over The Other 2 Amenites Spa , Pool , Breakfast Every Day Lunch Every Day , Dinner 3 Days A Week I Enjoyed My Stay Plus I Had A Room Service Attendant Everyday Cleaning My 2 Bedroom 2 Bath And Kitchen Which Was Supplied Coffee , Dishwasher , Stove Oven , Micro Wave Pop Corn Perfect Gem And We Had In N Out Burger Next Door And Harbor Frieght , El Pollo Loco Near By And Taquiera Los Comadres On Alonda Blvd And Stage Road 711 Store Arco Am Pm Very Convienant To My Job At Disneyland Me And My Family Stayed Here From June / November 2016 I Would Stay Again If Needed There Was One Employee His Name Was Timothy Room Service He Was Always Around To Help Me And My Kids And Wife

Stayed here for 3 nights because the bad reviews I read all had to do with them remodeling I called and asked them to put me in a remodeled room and was told it should be almost done when I came. There version of remodeling was a new mattress which was comfortable and painting (in bathroom going behind sink cabinet had a large patch job which was not painted). All the furniture was old with lots of wear on it. They took out the large bathroom sink counters and put in very small free standing vanity sink so there is no place to put stuff. The shower head is nice and high but there was no shelf to put your soap and shampoo/conditioner. I balance the soap on top of the shower frame (closing the toilet in case it fell) and put shampoo bottle on top of the towel on the towel bar. The site said they had a free hot breakfast but there was nothing the days I was there. Plenty of parking. Getting into the parking lot if you are coming from the south is hard because you have to cross a VERY busy 3 lane highway which also made for a noisy room because we were facing the highway. The staff was nice and if you are going to Knotts Berry Farm its a short walk.

This hotel was great for our stay here in California. The room was spacious and clean and the bed was extremely comfortable after a long day out whether around Los Angeles or a 17 hour day in Disneyland. The fridge was great bigger than we expected. We managed to store lots of bottled water and a few 2L bottles of juices with all our yoghurts etc for the mornings and during the day. Fridge is a great size for trips to Target which is across the street less than 5 min walk. Bathroom and other parts in the room we couldn’t fault had everything we needed for our stay to make it comfortable. As we left they were re decorating the halls, apart from all of this we wish there was stairs to each floor instead of just getting the lift up as we were in the 3rd floor room 355. Stairs would have been nice inside the blocks as there is only a fire exit stairwell to leave the hotel you cannot get to your room via stairs. Also great for parking a hire car as this hotel doesn’t charge for overnight parking too one of the reasons we chose this as our main location to go back and forth from saving us $350/$400 compared to competitor hotels around LA.

I book the 2 Queen room and everything seem fine and quiet. However, I did have issue with the door not being open properly and the app on the tv not connecting, so I got to call the technician to come and fix it. Other than that, it a pretty good place to stay. Be aware though that they do charge $10 for parking. If don't charge for the parking, it would be much better.

pon checking in, my family and I were greeted, acknowledged as Diamond Members, and welcomed back as returned guests. The staff was friendly and helpful. Our room and the rest of the hotel we saw, were clean and nice. We enjoyed our one-night stay and rested well. Fortunately, everyone we met was nice and helpful. I would suggest that when team members are discussing incidents involving other guests, they do so in their private office and not while at the front desk. As I entered the front desk area, a hotel team member was chatting with another speaking ill-will about her encounter with a difficult guest. She immediately stopped once she saw me, which was when I was at the desk already and heard enough. Thank you!

Front desk gentleman was very polite. But! Towels all had black marks & were very dinghy. Bottom of my feet were filthy from dirty floor. Coffee maker in room with no cups. Black hairs in bathroom- maybe just a bad housekeeper???Advertised breakfast but only has coffee. Sign says due to Covid-19; it’s been 2 years- change your ad & stop misleading us. Bathroom drain smelled like a sewer. I won’t go back there.
