If shared by a family of three or four, it is quite cost-effective. You can also barbecue in the yard and there is an exclusive swimming pool at the door, which the children will like. The facilities are quite complete, but the bedroom and bed are relatively small. It was a bit wasteful for the two of us to stay. We booked a room for the weekend. It was said that the price was twice the usual price. It was too expensive.

Such a unique experience while staying in the safari tent. Needs extra blankets for the cold nights, but otherwise everything was perfect.

We had a fantastic stay at the campground. The space was clean, cozy and well equipped with everything we needed for a comfortable getaway. The staff was friendly and helpful. There were daily activities available for those who wanted to participate , and everything was communicated through text message, which made it easy to stay in the loop. My family loved this place and we will definitely stay here again!

The cabin we stayed in was very simple but comfortable and quiet. There was a really nice supply of towels and essentials, that we really appreciated. The water pressure and shower enclosure was great. I was very impressed by all the amenities available here and of course the area has a lot to offer off property. I can highly recommend.

Loved the layout of the campground, location was great in relation to local wineries and breweries, restraints, and entertainment. Pools were heated, which was good for the kiddos. Only downside was the management. Our reservation for 2 wine cottages was split up and when this was discovered upon checkin, they did not accommodate us with the excuse that we booked through a third party. They also didn’t honor our First responder discount because “it was spring break”. Any issue that was discussed was blamed on me, as they took no responsibility and instead of any future discounts or offers to come back, they offered $10 bottle of wine and my 9 year old some bubbles. I kindly declined. We will probably be back because the property is a great time, minus the management.

Ants in the bed
We have always loved flying flags. We have stayed in the Safari tents, cabins, and this time vintage trailers. We had a problem with ants the whole trip in our bed. They did spray outside but had ants in our bed the whole 3 days we were there. Let's just say the wife was not happy. Wish they would have come up with abetter way to help. Didn't feel like they did much or were concerned at all.

Great stay in Safari Tent! We will be back!
We really enjoyed our 2 night stay in the Safari Tent. Private bbq area. Hot communal but private shower/bathroom is nice and modern. Beds are comfortable. Heating and A/C. TV with satellite channels. Pizza place on site. All kitchenware was provided including dish soap. Giant Connect 4 and Jenga. Playground and 2 heated pools. Arts and crafts at 3pm. Movie on the lawn our 1st night. The safari tent is on the far end of the property so it feels more secluded. There is a bridge/road going through the trees in our back bbq area view and you can hear the morning traffic around 6/7am. Only con but not bad otherwise. Generally quiet all day and night. There is a bus that takes you into Solvang so you don't have to drink and drive!
