Budgewoi Holiday Park

We booked ensuite site due to likelihood of rain. And rain it did. The downside of the park's lakeside location is it gets swampy underfoot and a bit odiferous. Ensuite was clean enough. Steps quite steep. The park is well situated walking distance to cafes and beach. Quiet (Sat Sun, Mon early December), shady, dog friendly, pretty good value.

We took our new caravan to Budgewoi. Great park, green and leafy. Walk to the lake & the surf & bike ride on a path to Toukley. Dog friendly Park too. We were site 77, it felt like there was room at that end of the park, rather than those in the 200-300. Close to the newly renovated Budgewoi Pub. Will go back for sure.

This caravan park was an absolute disgrace in terms of cleanliness. The showers/toilet blocks were putrid! Toilets covered in wee and poo, doors that won’t lock, floors covered in hair and other disgusting items. My 12 year old daughter was showering and both handles on the shower taps fell off! Totally unacceptable and so unsafe. Hand soap was always empty, the drains were all blocked so when you showered you stood in ankle deep water covered in other peoples hair! The roads around the park are full of huge pot holes and extremely unsafe for little kids to ride bikes or elderly people walking around the park. The playground and jumping pillow were inundated with large adult children. This meant our smaller children were not able to access these areas as it was too unsafe for them. The pool area was lovely however I didn’t see it cleaned or maintained during our entire stay. This park is in need of a HUGE maintenance overhaul. Very disappointed.
