The hotel's breakfast is very simple, just two croissants, a hot drink and a juice, and you need to pay for the rest.
The strangest thing is that we checked in on the afternoon of January 1st, but the final bill showed that we added multiple breakfasts, totaling more than 40 euros. When we informed the front desk that we did not consume this, the front desk service Personnel SZONJA said she didn't know either. Because that day was not her working day, I don’t know who added it. so she
Szonja could only refund us 20 euros, which seemed very unfair.

The suite was comfortable clean and homely. The staff were welcoming and very helpful particularly young waitress who helped us sort out the transport app! It a small intimate hotel and the decor very different to the usual chain hotel which we liked. The location is in the lovely Castle Hill area which we would recommend as opposed to the Pest side which is very busy traffic wise but you are closer to restaurants. However, that sis t bother us, the bus 16 from city centre ran every 10 mins to castle hill requiring short walk to hotel. Also Uber and Bolt are very reliable costing around £8. The breakfast was really tasty, freshly made and good quality produce.

Beautiful, elegant hotel located in the Buda Castle. Quality service, Dani at the reception was always there for us with a big smile and was willing to help. The hotel has its own restaurant with a great atmosphere, delicious food and great service.

I would like to say a huge thank you to yourself and the team. We had an amazing time in Budapest and the hotel was lovely too. We really appreciate the extra touch with the Prosecco to celebrate our honeymoon! The restaurant was great too with lovely staff and beautiful food. We will absolutely recommend your hotel to anyone looking to visit Budapest and we would definitely return too.

Wow what an incredible hotel! From the very start, our stay at the beautiful Baltazar was seamless. Service ***** They called ahead of time to tell us we could check in early. The room was super spacious and I’ve not had a nights sleep like it. The beds are so comfortable! Hotel ***** The decor of the hotel is charming and everything you’d want from a small boutique place. Location ***** This is by far the best part of our stay. Our priority was to spend time within the historic part of Buda. It’s in the heart of the castle district which boasts the historical sites and a peaceful rest bite away from the pest side of the city but still very accessible. Thanks again and we will be returning one day!

Beautiful hotel in Buda Castle area. The staff is really lovely and make you feel welcome. They will meet you at the door on arrival, which I really appreciated. The service at this hotel is definetely 10/10. The room was clean and spacious. Breakfast offers various options if you wish to upgrade from the standard breakfast of croissants, coffee and freshly squeezed juice.

What a great hotel! I stayed for 4 nights and it is, to my mind, the only place to stay in Budapest. Perfectly located in the quieter historical Buda district, it's everything a boutique hotel should be. Warm, stylish, cosy, spotlessly clean, a great bar and restaurant, excellent breakfast choices...and a fantastic team of staff, who were all so friendly and helpful. It really was a pleasure to stay there. The hotel is nestled in the atmospheric castle district streets and there's a good selection of restaurants to choose from within walking distance. Once you'e explored the captivating castle quarter, it's easy to get over to the more lively Pest side of the river for shopping, bars and other attractions, such as a river cruise. But it is so nice to then retreat back to the calm of the Buda. Five stars to the Baltazar -- highly recommend!

We visited for a few drinks in the sunshine while walking around Buda. Stopped for a few drinks and tried the Goulash Soup.....this seemed popular as many table had it. Service was Ok, a bit hit and miss and slow at times, but didn't stop our enjoyment or is returning if the weather was good (Hard to find many places in the sun for a beer in Buda)
