Hotel Metro

Hotel in a very convenient location, close to the metro and many services. Unfortunately it has some flaws, first of all the cleanliness that leaves a little to be desired. There were hairs on the pillows, in the sheets and in the bathroom. There is a reception but in 90% of cases it is closed and you can enter with a code.

Great location to visit the city center, in a quiet area. It is located near the train station. In the rooms, there are glass stickers on the windows to hide the view of the buildings. Safe in the room. Heating a little poor, to be compensated with the air conditioning inverter (as recommended by the receptionist). Room with dated furniture. Definitely a little too many 3 stars.

I arrived at this hotel on Friday 28 September 2023, as soon as I opened the room I could smell a strong smell of dust, I had proof of this later, dirt everywhere, hair and fur scattered in the small bathroom, stained single bed pillow, dust above the wardrobe and a very dirty detached minibar. The room was very badly soundproofed, during the only night spent there, I could hear my roommate snoring very well and in the morning at 6 when he turned on the small TV I heard everything. An experience never to be repeated in this 3-star hotel, the staff at reception is present from 5 in the morning to 5 pm, in case of emergencies or other you have to contact a telephone number. A hotel that has 3 stars should have at least basic room cleaning and offer the classic courtesy kit, instead there was only the semi-empty soap dispenser in the shower and next to the microscopic sink. Highly not recommended, a real disappointment.

Siamo andati io e mio marito nel mese di giugno per trascorrere 4 giorni a Budapest. Arrivati alle 23 circa non era presente nessuno alla reception, giustificabile visto l’orario. Ma nessuno era presente anche nei giorni a seguire, se eri fortunato trovavi qualcuno dalle 17 alle 18. Il resto della giornata non c’era anima viva. La stanza era sporca, le lenzuola impolverate così come i comodini e la scrivania presente in camera. Non ho dormito per due notti poiché soffro d’asma e tutta la polvere mi ha procurato una tosse assurda per tutta la notte. Ho dovuto prendere un antistaminico.Le pulizie non venivano fatte. Ho lasciato volutamente un fazzolettino sotto il cuscino, per ritrovarlo la sera nello stesso posto dove l’ho lasciato. Il bagno non veniva pulito, Asciugamani non cambiate e nessun kit di cortesia. Solo due dispenser di quelli che si trovano nei bagni pubblici, sia in doccia che accanto al lavandino.Non merita di essere considerato un hotel 3 stelle. Do 2 stelle solo per la posizione discreta. Pochi minuti dal centro. Non lo consiglio assolutamente e in un futuro non lo risceglierei.
