For a good night sleep go to this hotel, very comfy bed. The Room was large and there was a lovely walk in shower. Food was out of this world you definitely won't leave this place hungry. Tuesday pie and pint night £15 and Wednesday steak for 2 and a bottle of wine £45. And try the cheese board, yummy. Good cider, and chips to die for. They also serve REAL ham in the baquets. The team that works there definitely enjoy their job as there is lots of laughter. Nothing is too much for them. Thank you for a nice stay

Very spacious room, and large double bed. Bathroom facilities lacked nothing and shower worked well. We were treated very well and the available food was freshley prepared and reasonably priced. Served with a smile too! An unobtrusive pianist was there on the Tuesday evening Milton Combe is a pleasant little vllage, with access to a bus but no shops. It is quiet as most of the traffic is to and from the village inn, Handy for Drake's house, Tavistock and Dartmoor and Plymouth is not too far. Alas the railway at Yelverton to Princtown and Launceston was closed some years ago. A gem.

Stayed for a couple of nights whilst at a competition in Plymouth. What a great find. Our room was very comfortable and the bed was huge. Bathroom well appointed. One of the best things about the place are the staff. Trixie and Becky are fantastic in the evening and the lady serving breakfast is like a family friend to everyone. The food is great as well Would recommend unless you have a big Chelsea tractor....haha, the roads are very narrow.

We went for lunch with friends and had a delicious meal - the sticky toffee pudding was really something to rave about, quite exceptional. We stayed talking for ages and the staff couldn't have been nicer and didn't hassle us to leave at all. Highly recommended.

Lovely cosy olde worlde pub. Brilliant food and daily changes to the menu. Welcoming friendly staff especially the landlord, nothing was too much trouble. How I wish this was my local, will definitely return when next in Devon

A really lovely stay at this beautiful Inn. Hospitality was very attentive, food was delicious (the plaice in a prawn and potato chowder was amazing), the room was comfy and great. The in itself was charming with a decent range of beers. Would highly recommend. Thankyou

We stayed one night in summer 2021 and we really wish it had been longer! The village is in a valley and is really quiet, the only noise coming from the small brook next to the pub. We ate in the pub on the evening and the food, hospitality and ambiance were all second to none! Our room was amazing, spacious, clean and had a wonderful shower too. We were the only ones staying there that night, so we had an excellent breakfast and a chat with the owners mother. If you are in the area, pop in for a pint, but really I would recommend staying over as well!

We have just had a three night stay visiting family in nearby Buckland Monachorum. This was our second visit, we were here in late March. the village was even more picturesque this visit. The Inn was exactly the same, great room, good food and friendly staff. Good sized car park at the rear and the B&B accomodation has it's own entrance. The breakfast is excellent as are the Sunday roasts. Well done to Matt and the team @ the Whoody
