I stayed last week on business and since the hotel and beefeater were so welcoming, clean and enjoyable, I decided to stay at the same place. I was instantly recognised upon walking through the door in both the hotel and Beefeater which makes all the difference. I spent majority of my stay last week served by Andy, who is without a doubt one of the nicest servers I have ever met. He goes above and beyond, always making everyone feel welcome and makes sure everyone leaves with a smile. Now, I am not saying everyone else isn't as polite, I am afraid I haven't learnt their names yet, however, as i stay more and more, I sincerely hope I do

I still like Premier Inns but if you goto Buckingham don't accept room 101... the walls shake like an 80's sit-com when the fire door outside shuts... also a nearby aircon unit will wake you every half hour and the bathroom has a broken towel rail and basin unit.

Dirty stained shower curtain. Dirty stained bathroom counter. Heating not working properly. Toilet paper dispenser had not been filled and was virtually empty when points raised the morning after staff were rude. Food in the onsite beefeater eas terrible and service very poor

My husband and I stayed here for one night. Check-in was not allowed until 3pm to allow for a thorough cleaning of the room as per the Premier Inn Clean Protect policy. The bed was clean and changed, the bathroom fittings were clean. However, all the light switches, socket plates and door handles were absolutely minging and looked like they hadn't been cleaned since pre Covid, nevermind after the previous guests. There were dirty greasy fingermarks on all the light switches and the bedside light switch in particular even had grubby bits stuck to it. I used the bathmat and a bottle of hand sanitiser I took from the reception to clean them before we touched them and when I had finished the bathmat was black. The back of the bathroom door was covered in stains and the floor behind the door was filthy with rubbish. am not one of those people who go looking for faults in hotel rooms believe me and I hardly ever leave bad reviews but the state of this room was disgraceful.

Convenient location, great free parking. Gemma (I hope I have her name correct), who was checking customers in at the front desk deserves a medal for single handedly helping everyone while her colleague sat in the office and left her to deal with an extremely busy sold-out check-in period by herself, while the computer system was down. We had a hot shower, and a clean bed (when we finally got into a room) but unfortunately that is where the positives end. After being unable to check-in at 3pm when we arrived due to the failure in the computer systems (this is just one of those things, technical failure, nobody’s fault). We tried again after a 20minute wait, as suggested by the staff, only to be told again we couldn’t check-in. So after two failed attempts at check-in over a 40minute period, and plans to be somewhere else by a certain time, we agreed with the front desk we would just check-in upon our return to the sold-out hotel that night, leaving our bags with them for safe keeping. Our return to the hotel ended up being at around 11:30pm-midnight, and we were so relieved to finally get into a room, however the relief was short lived. Not only did the room REEK of smoke, with a window we were unable to open for some fresh air, but the door wouldn’t lock from the inside, the bathroom tiles and bath mat were grubby, and the carpet around the bed were adorned with stains and what looked like burnt patches. Plus, despite the booking being for a double room, there were only one set of towels. Plus we had paid £80+ for the privilege of this ’Premier Inn’ room that we only had access to for half of a night, and couldn’t wait to get out of there in the morning.
