Premier Inn Buckingham

Overall OK stay at Premier Inn Buckingham. Comfortable beds and good sleep other than the sound of the air conditioning being bothersome. Rooms were mostly clean aside from some dust and stains on sofa. The big let down was the welcome. The person at reception who greeted us on arrival was very cold, stared at us unconformably and supplied us with incorrect information about breakfast times. Staff also do not readily answer phones when there are issues during the stay. Also, because of the incorrect information given, we missed the majority of breakfast and did not get value for money for the breakfasts we paid for. Premier Inn have not supported us in trying to get a refund. All in all, the stay was practical and convenient with an appreciation for a good night's sleep and the facilities. However, we were disappointed by the staff at the Premier Inn.

This is just what you expect. Cheap, clean, helpful staff, good car parking and Beefeater next door. However the new self booking in system is a nightmare - use the receptionist if there. Also, in our room, some of the maintenance clearly lacking. Our shower was not properly sealed and leaked over the floor and side walls. Clearly been going on for ages as skirting board was rotten. So, against all the eco intents most towels ended up on the floor. Why can these companies not deal with this type of thing in a timely manner?

I stay here at least once a month. Staff are lovely, rooms are good but getting a good night's sleep with the heating system they have, you have no chance. It is so noisy. I complained about this last month but still not rectified. Please sort out your heating system.

I stayed here before an event at Silverstone. The hotel was easy to locate and there is a Tesco superstore opposite which was really helpful. Upon arrival there was plenty of parking close to the hotel reception which was nice as there wasn't too far to walk from the car with several bags in the wind and rain. A warm greeting at reception and a quick, simple check in process. The room was as expected, clean, tidy and comfy. I was on the ground floor but the window was not openable which was disappointing as I like having fresh air. Some paint peeling in the bathroom which looked a bit tatty but other than that the room was good. A really decent sleep, hotel was quiet inside and no noise from outside. I'd definitely stay here again.

Stayed one night here with our daughter and her husband on the way down South. Lovely helpful guy on reception. Unusual rooms with a chair instead of a sofa bed… and a smaller desk. Our bathroom had a shower, no bath. However, lovely comfy night’s sleep, quiet hotel, plenty of hot water. We had a meal in the restaurant.. the meal was ok but the service was unbelievably slow… although the girl serving us was SO helpful and pleasant. Clean and comfortable with free parking.
