Okay, we were here for 10 days in July. I will start with the positives and then other areas that could be improved. The room that we stayed in was big and airy, good air-conditioning, clean, I can see that the tranzzit hotel are making improvements i.e. new bathrooms, clean and modern. Night staff was friendly quite close to old town, €3 in an Uber, which I thought was great value.. sidenote, Ubers are cheap and reliable in Bucharest. Some of the day staff tried to be friendly but lack of English made it hard to communicate. Now onto the not so positive where the hotel is situated. There is a lack of restaurants and local amenities. The rooms : Simple thing, like a waste paper bin in your room. There was none. Also, we did not have a wardrobe in our room where we could hang or clothes are clothes had to stay mostly in our suitcases. or hung over a chair and we had a bracelet and a brand-new top go missing from our room. I did report it but nothing was done.. there is no coffee making facilities in your room or or a place in the hotel where you could get a coffee we had to take an Uber into old town. One particular member of the reception staff treated the hotel home from home. She was never behind the reception. She was always in the lounge area smoking drinking coffee and she had a dog that would bark at you. You always felt that if you had to ask her a question that you were interrupting her conversation with her male friend or interrupting her on her mobile, very unprofessional. And the stink of smoke through the hotel wasn’t nice either. This is an honest and fair view of the tranzzit hotel.
