We originally booked at Floyd’s or Lloyds on the river. It was the worst motel experience ever. Checked out after first night because it was so bad. We came here and I told the clerk our story about the other place and the problems we had. She fixed us right up. Gave us a room that was more convenient for my husband who has been having difficulty walking. Very nice and helpful. The room was comfortable and more importantly, CLEAN. We were in the room by the lobby and did not hear any noise, even at breakfast time. They did not have a full breakfast but did have muffins and packaged biscuits you could microwave. I would definitely stay here again. Very good experience.

I am requesting a full refund for my reservation. Upon my arrival at 3:10pm, there was no-one at the office to check in. I looked around the property to find someone by did not find. Finally at 4:00pm, a woman did open the office. The woman, I assume she was the manager, was very rude and abrupt with the check-in process. Exceptionally unfriendly and did not make me feel welcome. I aske twice where my room was and was finally told, ”over there in the middle” as she pointed in a direction. Once I did find the room I was assigned, I went in and was shocked. The room smelled awful with the smell of mildew or mold and is very small.. The room is advertised as a King Room. The room size is less than 100 square feet. The only king size was the bed. The are no nightstand near the bed nor any electrical outlets beside the bed. I use a CPAP machine to sleep and the is no electrical outlets near the bed to plug this in. The tiny bathroom is filthy. The exterior was shabby, trash on the ground, empty pool. The river view was looking at a run-down abandoned house. I went back to the office and again no-one was there. After waiting over 20 minutes I did find the woman manager. I politely told her my concerns and stated I could nit stay in the room for several reasons. First I said there were electrical outlets near the bed to plug my CPAP machine in. Her reply was ” I could give you a plug thing to use. I also said told her the room is very dirty and not a king room as advertised. Her response was the owners are planning too upgrade the property. I was told I would only receive a partial refund of $160.00. I asked for a receipt, but the lady could not figure out how to print it. She said she would mail the receipt, but as of today, one week later, I have not received. I believe, due to the the room not being habitable, the mis-represented in the advertisements, and the rude treatment I received, I am due a complete refund.
