Situated in a lovely quiet location only 10 mins drive into Lytham. We had a large double room with a really comfy bed and large shower. We ate all our meals there and the food was excellent with a really good choice. Wouldn't consider going anywhere else now if we wanted to stay around Blackpool and Lytham.

We stayed overnight , the food, drinks and staff were all amazing , the room not so much , good points , the bed was comfy and the bedding clean and good quality , the tea/coffee tray was good. Bad points , the room was shabby, lightbulb’s missing, the heating not working , which when it’s -3 outside !

Plenty of parking in a quiet location. Great view from the room. A good selection of teas, coffees, and hot chocolates. Hair dryer and trouser press in the room. Short walk to the bar but the room was quiet and a comfortable temperature. The bed was cosy and provided a good night's sleep. Breakfast was extra but worth the cost.

Stayed over for one night, came early evening. Staff friendly and welcoming. Restaurant/bar area was very nice and relaxing. Room clean but a little outdated and plain. Had a hot breakfast the next morning which you pay extra for. This was presented beautifully and good value for money. I left the table and left my partner seated to nip back to the room. The waitress as I walked passed asked from across the bar if I was ok, I replied yes, she then rudely and abruptly asked if I’d had a cooked breakfast I needed to pay for it. I explained my partner was still at the table and I had planned on coming back. Not how you expect to be spoken to and felt accusing and uncomfortable. Should have asked for payment upfront when I ordered if she wanted payment so fast, or even put a bill on the table. Not how you speak to customers if you want them to return.

Was greeted with welcome to Faulty Towers call me Basil! Room was filthy. Used sanitary products in the bin. Carpet not vacuumed. Toilet not fixed to the wall. No hangers in the wardrobe. External door left unlocked all night. No night security. I hardly slept as male banging on the door shouting to get in. I had to put a chair against the door. Ring down and the phone was put down on me. Couldn’t wait to leave.

Room 17 was lovely. Friends who were also staying said their room needed updating. Positives: Clean, large comfortable bed, nice toiletries (that were replenished during a two night stay), spacious, good value for money, large ensuite with two sinks, seating area. Improvements: No chocolate/goodies provided as per the website, no water or fridge, tv only showed BB1 and BBC2.
