Super great option if you’d like to get robbed right outside the hotel! They do have a guard on sight, but when even he is too afraid to be outside, quits, and no new guard is called in, it doesn’t really help. You should also go if you’d like to live with mold both on the mattress and in the shower. Yet you should’t go if you want fresh air in your room though, cause they charge you 200€ to open the window. - also the cleaning lady broke the sink, didn’t say anything about it, so when we came home it was too late to call someone to fix it, so we had to wash our hands in the shower. Great experience overall!

Don’t go out at night, my friend got their chain snatched. And the guard at the hotel doesn’t seem to bother making people feel safe. The service was terrible and got told that they wouldn’t be able to help with the malfunctioning faucet. And don’t even get me started on the air-conditioner.

I was at this hotel with my friends. At around 12:30 on the first night I was there I was in one of my friends rooms having a chat, when suddenly a huge security guard comes in and grabs me and my friend from the top bunk of the bed in my other friends room and we clattered to the ground. He sent us back to our rooms and we woke up with many bruises and cuts from the fall. Very violent security guard and very rude staff wouldn’t listen to us.

Kids messing all night. Me and my husband got no sleep for 3 nights in a row! I complained to the staff but they refused to stop them. there was knocking on my door after 2am! WILL NOT BE GOING BACK AND TELLING EVERYBODY ABOUT MY STAY!!! Some staff can't speak english as well.

I booked a shared room and was told it would only be other women however it was not. The people at reception were nice but massively disappointed that there are no shared rooms for women only making it a bit difficult to feel safe. Other than that the room its self is clean and comfortable. The location is a bit of a trek from the main attractions but there is plenty of transportation around.

Nice and clean, good soundproofing and really lovely staff - they all seem to be happy wotking there - even the cleaners. I felt comfortable and looked after. Coffee was amazing. Guest kitchen extremely handy for saving money on food. Very close to the station which was a blessing with such heavy luggage. Only one thing - a toaster in the kitchen would have been helpful!

Great stay at this hostel/hotel. Very large modern room with comfortable bed and large couch. The shower and toilet have doors and there is a separate sink area. Large bar area downstairs with several TVs which was good for watching the Euro matches plus an outside area. We didn't cook but used the kitchen fridge to store some food. Very friendly and helpful staff who gave good recommendations for local cafes. The hotel is also close to the tram line for direct access to the Brussels Midi main train station and it is an easy walk into the city centre. There were lots of young students staying but it never felt crowded or too noisy. Great value for money.

Fairly modern facilities. Very clean. My towel was replaced daily. Staff were polite enough and drinks at the bar were cheap. However, no privacy curtains in dorms in 2024 is a big disappointment. hopefully, enough people mention this in reviews to make management act.
