There is no air conditioner, the toilet is not integrated, although everything is a bit shabby, but it is very good as a budget, with extra kitchen and outdoor space.
But summer is really hot.

Cleaness was ok, but the rooom was in TERRIBLE condition, shower was maintained in place by zip ties, electricity was done by wild cables, the bed was two stacked bad mattresses. I definitely would prefer sleep in my car then stay there another night.

The guesthouse is charming and cosy in an elegant building close to the European Parliament. My room was clean and spacious and the bed very comfortable. The common spaces are lovely. Don't expect a hotel tough, it's a guesthouse with its charm and limitations.

On the positive side, the location is great and the room was mostly quiet. On the negative side, it was one of the oddest rooms I've ever stayed in. I could put my hands flat on the ceiling and I'm only 160 cm (5 ft 3). The bathroom was microscopic and it was hard to go around the sink to reach the toilet. There was an extremely strong room "freshener" that ran constantly and it triggered some kind of allergy for me, and the window opened to behind the stairs of the patio with an enormous ashtray. I was given no information on the breakfast and didn't receive it. I don't watch tv, but the room didn't have one. The woman who checked me in spoke only French, not English or German.

Great location, just few minutes to the subway, local grocery store (Delhaize), 10 min to the Brussels Park and Royal Palace. Terrassa apartment was awesome - very bright, high ceilings. Comfy. All you need for a long or short stay. Kitchen has everything you need for cooking. Very convenient for someone who doesn't like to go to restaurants 3 times a day... Huge thanks to the personnel for being so helpful and attentive. We'll be back!
