I have slept in the past and that was fine. Unfortunately, this time I had several unpleasant experiences that will definitely not make me return any time soon. Made a reservation with a Social Deal voucher, but upon arrival I had to pay an additional reservation fee (5€), which was literally not mentioned anywhere (not even in the confirmation or conditions). Had to pay or I didn't get the key. After contacting the head office, it turned out that I was right and I got my money back. The tone was set by the, in my opinion, unfriendly way in which the receptionist handled this, and not in a positive sense. Stayed 2 nights, on day 2 in the morning at 8:45 am asked to refill soap because it was empty, after returning at 5 pm the soap had not been refilled and the jerry can with soap was in the sink. Soap could no longer be refilled, so we kept the jerry can. What was supposed to be a relaxing trip turned out to be far from it (due to these experiences). Room was dated, bathroom reasonable but noisy.

When booking, a friendly lady tells in a YouTube video how good Fletcher hotels are. The management certainly does not read TripAdvisor comments. Upon arrival, the bill will be presented and payment requested. Strange actually, you are allowed to dock even before delivering a performance. Even though Erenstein is tied to the construction of the square farm, the rooms can also be furnished invitingly. Our room was run down, the furniture looked shabby, and we found an abandoned water bottle under a bedside table. So the cleaning couldn't have been good either. There was no cool answer from air conditioning to this month's temperatures, and sleeping with the windows open was also not possible because people talked long and loudly in the courtyard. Together with the overnight stay, apparently like many guests, we reserved the restaurant. Fantastic location, impressive decoration, but a good chef is nowhere to be seen. In front of the house is a beautiful, large and well-attended terrace. Where is the commercial antenna of the manager? You have to get a drink yourself from a lady waiting inside the bar who makes no attempt to take orders outside. What missed opportunities! The breakfast the next morning, on the other hand, was fine, but again quite expensive. Despite all the recommendations from the sympathetic lady, we will pass by next time.

Kamer was ruim genoeg, want aparte badkamer en zitkamer. Jammer genoeg waren deze een verdieping hoger via een trap in de kamer. Er waren twee tv-toestellen, maar klein. Aankleding was wat ouderwets, maar dit paste wel in het oude gebouw. Ontbijt was deugdelijk, (met uitzondering van te droog roerei) maar telkens identiek. Afbakbroodjes.

Hôtel sympa, bien situé. Les chambres pourraient être un peu rafraîchies. Le restaurant dans le château est très bien. Bien situé entre Aix-La-Chapelle et Maastricht, juste à à côté d un lac autour duquel on peut faire de jolies randonnées. L’hôtel est au calme.
