Hotel Paradiso Como

The view: get a room facing the lake. That alone, more than pays for the stay. It is not called Paradiso by pure chance. The infinity heated pool and the sauna are a most welcome touch after a long trip. And what a trip: to get to the hotel, you take a narrow windy road fit for a bicycle. But, you are in car...and so is the other guy coming down. This is the stuff that forges memories ;-) one does not access Paradise, without a transit through Purgatory. The restaurant and bar, with the aforementioned view, are also noteworthy

After 5km on an interesting road 😅 we reached the hotel. First, there are not so many free parking places (the white ones) so watch out. The landscape is amazing ! Great pool area and breakfast / dinner terrasse. The comfort of the room was definitely OK. With a pleasant balcony. Yasmine briefed us on the things to do in the region when we checked in. Thank you.

Exceptional stay, this hotel is just amazing. All the staff are welcoming, polite, professional and go out of their way to make your stay 10/10. The reception staff helped us massively by giving us local tips to help us explore the area and get the most out of our trip. The views from the balcony (junior suite) are stunning, waking up and walking out to the balcony watching the boats go past on the lake made our holiday. Make sure you enjoy a drink in the infinity pool, they told us when we checked in this will be spectacular and it truely was. The food and service in the restaurant was 10/10, can recommend a bottle of wine called Lugana to compliment the pasta. Breakfast was a treat, you get provided with continental tray and coffees and then choose hot cooked breakfast from a menu. The room was spacious and clean, our only feedback for the room was that it would have been beneficial to have some milk provided for the tea/coffee facilities. If you want a small, family feel hotel with amazing lake views this is the hotel for you. We hired a car and getting to the hotel was an interesting experience going up the winding roads, we were initially concerned about how to get back to the hotel when we went to explore as we went on foot, but you can easily get the funicular back to Brunate, send the hotel a message and they offer a transfer service to get you back up to the hotel. A great service. The only thing we would have changed is to stay for longer!!

The place where the hotel is located - simply fantastic. The road is typical for mountain-small villages therefore I recommend you renting a small car :) the hospitality is outstanding, room was clean, very aesthetic and - the best part - THE RESTAURANT. The food made by Gina is simply the best, if you can you should try it. The breakfast is so complete and tasty as well!
