The quality of the quilt is hard to describe... The location is good. The front desk is in another building, so it's hard to find! Business trips are fine, but travel can affect your mood too much...

We booked this as a hotel through Agoda but a few days before we were told we would need to collect our key from the nearby hostel. We were then taken to our room, through a doorway from a narrow alley and up two flights of steep stairs. The first thing you are greeted with is a sign on the kitchen cupboard stating that dishes must be washed, dried and put away or you would be fined €50! To say the photographs of the family room are generous would be a huge understatement - it was dark and dingy. The sheets were stained and torn and there were holes in the walls. We decided immediately that we would not be staying but needed to move our vehicle as we have only 20 minutes of parking. By the time we returned to say that we were checking out, we were told that no refund could be provided and we would have to take it up with Agoda or *********** Upon our return, we did this and were offered $90 in vouchers towards another stay - for a booking that had cost us €335! Avoid at all costs - we found a lovely little camping ground an hour's walk out of the city!

DO NOT STAY HERE. Hands down the worst experience of a hotel I have ever had the displeasure of having. The rooms are grubby, they are over priced for what they are. The rooms are disgusting, the walls are paper thin, so you can hear everything from other guests and/or resident's. Including every step anyone and everyone seems to make in the whole hotel. No air con. Every single time anyone goes to the toilet you will hear it in detail. The beds are RIDDLED with bugs (we left covered in bites). The location is the only redeeming quality but trust me when I say; THIS HOTEL IS AWFUL and YOU WILL REGRET IT. Save your money. Stay elsewhere. If you value rest, this hotel sucks. It is NOT A GOOD PLACE TO STAY. Honestly, you’d be more comfortable on the cobbles of the square. This hotel is horrendous.

In summary, I would not visit Leopold again. From the moment we arrived it began with bewilderment at the checkin process, there was a map printed on the door with no instructions. We spoke with the owners in a local bar who pointed us into the direction of the hostel around the corner, they checked us in thankfully. There is no mention the 'hotel' would be without staff throughout the day/night. Felt more like a airbnb than a 'hotel'. Things have changed it seems since the last reviews, there is no bar, no breakfast on offer and throughout our stay none of our sheets were changed or new towels provided. Only good thing I can say is the location was fairly good.

Absolutely wonderful two night stay at Collier’s. Everything was perfect and I can’t fault any aspect of our stay. We booked direct and at the very last minute so was pleasantly surprised with our spontaneous decision to stay in Bruge instead of Ghent. The natural surroundings, park and lake are beautiful and romantic! Check in was super quick and nearby free parking meant that we didn’t have to worry about topping up parking payments. Breakfast was delicious; eggs, jams, fruit, yogurt, meats, warm croissants/bread and fresh coffee. Plentiful and good quality. We stayed in a small but cosy room on the second floor. All the small details, super comfy bed and quiet surrounding made have it a cottage like feel and we wished we could have stayed longer. Based in a central location, a few minutes from the market square and another 5 mins to the Belfry Tower. The Saturday market is not to be missed! Lots of great recommendations from the hosts, from dinner to flower shopping. Above all, the hosts were the highlight of our stay. Friendly, genuine, flexible and helpful - no request was too much for them. This is a really special B&B and we look forward to returning in the future.

Little cleanliness in the common areas (stairs and entrance). Very steep stairs to the limit of practicability (with a normal suitcase it is impossible to climb). Renovated bathroom but clogged sink and no hot water. The price is not comparable to the service offered. The only positive points: the centrality and proximity to the public garage and the friendliness and friendliness of the guys who manage it.

Hotel located between the station and the center, in a quiet area, close to bars and minimarkets. Check in at a nearby facility with friendly and helpful staff. Very steep and dangerous stairs when carrying the trolley, lock on the room door dated and unsafe. Spacious room, bathroom with a nice shower cubicle, only a few random towels changed and there was no cleaning and the bed was not made.

Little more than a hostel but nice and clean rooms, spacious bathroom, very central location, very close to the train station and station parking, the only thing wrong is the lack of cleanliness in the common areas (entrance, coffee area, stairs) Very steep stairs but considering the setting I think it's a common place.

On arrival we were given the key and we were allowed to look for a room ourselves (and this was a search) because we had to go through the streets again to look for another entrance... We had room 7 and it was very small, no fridge... no kettle in the room . The fridge seems logical to me these times (we had insulin with us and since we certainly couldn't afford to lose it, we didn't dare put it in the communal fridge, 2 levels down) so this was disappointing. No air conditioning in the room and it is certainly not a quiet room “on the market”. Nice bathroom, renovated. There was a lot of dirt under the bed... We each got 1 large towel. When we met the cleaning lady the next day, I wanted to ask for an extra towel... (1 for the long hair & 1 for my body) and the cleaning lady asked. Why did I want another towel? After I gave the reason, she said okay and puffed hard... not friendly at all. The room is very basic, it was okay. But certainly not a high flyer for us! There was no breakfast (if we had taken it, you would have to go through the streets again in the morning to have breakfast somewhere else (which is related to the hotel)… There is no reception in this part (so you have to also through the streets of Bruges) it is not far... but not really practical. The location is perfect!! And a very nice location!
