This Guesthouse is an absolute gem of a place with its central location overlooking the canal in the historic medieval centre of Bruges. I recently stayed here for 4 wonderful nights with my daughter. Our rooms were tastefully and individually furnished, very spacious and extremely comfortable. Although many tourists gather around the picturesque Bonifacius Bridge in the daytime to take photos and tourist-filled boats pass by regularly on the canal, it is a haven of peace and calm in the evenings. Lyne Vanhaecke, who runs the Guesthouse, made us feel so welcome from the moment we arrived (and were greeted with a glass of champagne and some magnificent olives) and throughout our entire stay. She was hugely helpful with all our enquiries and gave us some great suggestions for sightseeing and restaurants. The breakfasts were delicious, especially the fruit selection and Lyne happily accommodated our requests for Greek yoghurt and gluten free bread. Nothing was too much trouble which was really appreciated. I couldn’t recommend this B & B exclusive Guesthouse more highly!

Absolutely wonderful. Perfect in every way. Excellent location, fantastic room, great breakfast, welcoming host, best view in Bruges. Couldn't ask for anything more a tranquil haven right in the centre of everything. With a perfect lounge with free drinks and a secret roof terrace. Amazing find.

Wonderful from start to finish. This is a special place, and if you can, stay here. Our room overlooked the busy canal, which can be a bit noisy during the day, with boats passing constantly. Be aware the volume of the commentary (in many languages depending on the group onboard) is high. This is a small price to pay. The room was simple but elegant, and the jetted tub was such a treat after a day exploring. It’s worth noting that the room was very quiet at night, the boats stop around 5 pm and the busy churchyard across the narrow canal is locked in the evening. Breakfast, as others have noted, is lovely. We enjoyed our pastries and eggs, and barely made a dent in the cold plate of cold cuts and cheese. There is a tidy roof deck with loungers, and a few rooms facing the street which of course cost less than the canal room. Lynne was a wonderful host. What a pleasure to stay in one of the most photographed buildings in the town. Charming, unique, and outstanding.

This lovely gem , including Lynn -the owner , is truly a diamond. Comfort and every need was looked after. Beautiful breakfast with a varied fruit plate, delicious eggs cooked in Staub cast iron with mushrooms and bacon, waffles, a variety of fresh pastries, etc. Our room was large and looked over the canal. But we had access to a communal sitting room, terrace, tea and coffee and drinks. Large bathroom with excellent shower and bath Lynn also spent time showing us what there was to see, what markets to explore, had umbrellas on hand. And the house was easily walkable to historic sites, markets, shops and restaurants. We would only stay here in Bruges. Thank you, Lynn

We had a wonderful stay. Lyn was so welcoming and the room was lovely - we had the canalside view room. It was nice a quiet and even when the boats started in the morning it wasn't too loud. The bed was really comfy and there was good air con. I loved the old style shutters in the bedroom. We were offered a glass of champagne when we arrived and also at breakfast each morning. We had breakfast overlooking the canal each morning, what a view! The breakfast was wonderful, so much to eat! Lovely fruit salad to srar and pastries/bread and a choice of eggs and you can finish with a waffle if you have room! No need for lunch as breakfast kept is going for ages! Well stocked minibar which is complimentary. Lovely roof terrace, and a jacuzzi style bath which we enjoyed using. Would definitely come back here.

Centuries old, sensitively modernised, canal-side building with delightful roof-top views, in a lovely, quiet location on the edge of the old town. Comfortable, spacious bedrooms with en-suite toilet and bath/shower room. The multi-lingual owner and her staff were friendly and unfailingly helpful. Excellent breakfast with fresh fruits, French-style breads and croissants, a range of cooked offerings, waffles and a complimentary glass of champagne, all beautifully presented in a delightful old room overlooking a canal. Coffee and teas always available. The Guesthouse has its own car park.

An outstanding place to stay! A really beautiful old house, transformed into a fabulous guest house. Its location is unbeatable - right on the canal, beside the stunning Church of Our Lady and literally moments from two must-see museums, including the Groeninge with its Jan van Eycks and more. Lyn is a truly fabulous host, serving incredible breakfasts, and full of helpful advice. We were arriving very late, and were further delayed by road closures in the UK making us miss our original Shuttle - but Lyn quickly and easily made new arrangements for us to be met on arrival. Superb service - I’d highly recommend this lovely guesthouse. And also Bruges itself - busy, of course, but unique, beautiful and perfect for a weekend break. Art, culture, easily walkable, great food, so many beers, interesting canal tours and super welcoming people. Definitely worth visiting!

This guesthouse was more beautiful than I could have imagined! The service was exceptional and we were served a delicious breakfast each morning. We stayed in a very peaceful room overlooking the canal. The views from the rooftop patio were truly breathtaking. It was like stepping back in time. I only wish we had stayed longer, but next time we’ll know that two nights aren’t enough!
