Cable Beach Club Resort & Spa

Cable Beach|0.26km from Buddha Sanctuary
Booked through Luxury Escapes Voucher for 4 nights. Arrived one day late to check-in due to miscommunication, was not contacted by hotel to check whereabouts. Was greeted by helpful reception staff, and champagne. Staff did honour voucher inclusions ie. drink vouchers x8. Difficult to park to check in as not much space for car at reception. Secure parking was good, but the closest car park was still quite a walk from our room, especially in the Broome heat with a lot of luggage as we were on 6 week road trip and no assistance offered for luggage. Car park filled up quickly, and we were left with spaces even further away at times. Room was adequate, exhaust fan in bathroom very loud, ironing board broken (replaced upon request), no complimentary water in fridge, unlike other cheaper hotels. Good television, nice private balcony, good quality toiletries, otherwise unremarkable room. Breakfast was tasty, with good options. Beautiful to sit out overlooking the sunset at the sunset bar. Ocean pool nice, but food only served until 4pm, drinks only until 5:30pm despite plenty of guests still at the pool at 5:30. Advised to utilize sunset bar after this time. Unfortunately, not all restaurants open due to Covid/ off season. Good cocktail menu and quality, different menus at each bar. The resort was well staffed, and maintained, however seemed to be lacking the luxury resort feel we were expecting, especially for the price. Unfortunately it falls short in some areas and did not quite live up to expectations. Overall, unremarkable stay, nothing special.

Broome Time Resort

Cable Beach|2.96km from Buddha Sanctuary
in Oct 21 we had made a booking at Broome Time Resort (BRT) for a group of 6 of us for 3 days from 25 -29 June 22 after returning from a Kimberley Hiking Tour. After immediately receiving the Booking Confirmation in Oct 21 we believed our accommodation would be available when we arrived A day before we actually left for the walking tour BRT allowed us to leave some of our bags with them (much appreciated ) and on these we were required to label the bags with our name, number as well as the check in and check out dates of our upcoming booking (still have the bag tag) However while we were on the Tour and completely out of communication (ie NO Reception for emails or Phone Calls) BRT cancelled our booking. Although once we were back in Reception and at the BRT Check in desk we could see that they had tried to contact us 2 days before we turned up - as planned and booked for as in Oct 21 - to find our Booking cancelled and we had no where to stay We were initially told there were No rooms available but after questioning why our booking was cancelled at all and where we were meant to find accommodation on such short notice - thankfully 3 rooms were found for the one night so our group of 6 could stay (at least for this night) Although 4 of our group had to find accommodation elsewhere for the following night Besky (the Duty Manager) was able to get us all 6 of us back into BRT for the remainder of our stay (again much appreciated) However we can't be the only group to make a booking at BRT (well in advance and receive a booking confirmation) go on a trip to the Kimberley - therefore being out of communication for the majority of the trip and definitely 2 days before (we were at Purnululu) so I'm not sure why BRT wouldn't know or expect this and have another process - or whey they would cancel it at all before our booked check in date. Still have not received any explanation as to why the booking was cancelled - and even so - as the booking confirmation was received and they had our bags (with check in/ check out dates) on them whey they would cancel our booking

Everything was very easy and convenient and the staff were super helpful. Fun place connected to a pub and a party bar The other guests were from all over the world so it's a very interesting environment.
Kimberley Travellers Lodge - Broome YHA
3.7/546 Reviews
It needs to be remembered that The Kimberley Travellers Lodge is a YHA establishment who generally cater for Backpackers. This review therefore reflects this status as opposed to reviewing a Hotel/Motel. Reception on arrival was very friendly and informative. The room provided was unpretentious, containing two comfortable single beds that had a cabinet between them. There was also a sizeable dresser, providing plenty of storage opportunities. The shared bathroom area was small but provided sufficient area for minimal requirements. The only real issue was that by the end of the day, they become messy and unpleasantly odorous. The dining/lounge area, while under cover, was generally an outdoor area that provided adequate seating for all residents and an opportunity to socialize. It also encompassed a bar, pool, and bar-b-que area. A common kitchen was available for guests wishing to self-cater, wherein a supply for a very simple continental breakfast was also provided for each morning. Regretfully, at the time we were there, only one of the three toasters was working, and even that not very well. Very conveniently close to the airport, which is a mere ten-minute walk away.

Cocos Beach Bungalows
4.8/531 Reviews
This small and private resort is perfect for families, as the bungalows are set up as 'a home away from home'. Each bungalow even has a private-use BBQ with outdoor seating and dining in a lovely shady decked patio. All three bedrooms are spacious and air conditioned. The lounge, dining and kitchen are open plan and was able to easily accommodate 6 adults and one child. The gardens are a tropical oasis with a good sized pool with the perfect temperature! It's an easy walk to the beautiful Cable Beach, The Cable Beach Club and several other resorts/restaurants. If you wish to go into Broome Town for shopping or dining, the bus stops right outside the resort. We also have to mention how lovely and helpful Ross (the onsite manager) was throughout our stay.
Moonlight Bay Suites

Great views of Roebuck Bay. Very clean & very spacious and located in a great location near Town Beach. Walking distance to Town Beach, China Town / town centre, markets, take away outlets, Matso’s brewery, bus stop – walkable to all the attractions, except Cable Beach, but it is easy enough to catch the bus to Cable Beach, with the bus stop right across the street. It is an older style resort, however very well maintained. The staff are very accommodating and friendly, and no request is too much trouble. The cleaning staff do an amazing job keeping the rooms clean. The living area is large & airy with a couch, coffee table, flat screen tv & dvd player. There are many tv channels to choose from. The kitchen is full sized and well equipped with pots, pans, crockery & glassware. Cooktop, oven, microwave, full sized fridge, dining table & chairs. The bedroom has a comfortable bed, clean linens, in-room safe, iron/ironing board, beach towels are provided. Loads of hanging & storage space. The air conditioning works well and the living area as well as bedroom both have ceiling fans. The bathroom is older style, but very clean & well maintained. Great lighting & a really good make up light. Good ventilation. Good shower pressure and the bathroom has a separate shower and bath tub. The hair dryer is on the very old style attached to the wall – but it worked. The property has a very large pool, gym & on-site laundry. Heaps of parking. Well located & clean and good value for money.
