I have stayed at this motel a total of 3 times. The first time was in 2017 and the second in 2018. It wasn't horrible, so when I came to the Made in America festival in Philly again this year, I decided to reserve a room here again. This time it was a bit more expensive, 98$. Okay, fine, whatever. We arrived at the motel to a sign on the door saying ”no rooms available”, well good thing we reserved our nonsmoking room, right? wrong! they told us expedia had it wrong and the room we reserved wasn't available anymore and that the only room that they had left was a smoking room. Okay fine, what other choice do we have considering there's thousands of people staying in the area for this music festival. We were charged for the room, only 90$ instead of 98$ (gee thanks for the ”discount”) and told we would get refunded from the other one... still waiting on that. We walked into the room to the worst stench of cigarettes I've ever smelled in my life. Instant migraine. Burn holes in the sheets and dirt stained linen. The floors were soooo dirty my feet were black. I'm super glad I brought socks. As the night went on, we saw roaches. and not just one or two...multiple. I even killed a baby one on my boyfriend's foot while he was sleeping. I slept on top of the duvet with my own blanket praying I didn't wake up with a roach on me. I walked around the room and noticed the walls had many black spots on them... turns out when you looked up close, they were dead roaches people killed still stuck to the wall... house keeping didn't even try to clean them. We totally slept with the lights on. The AC unit barely worked and was literally broken and falling apart on the front. The dead bolt for the door.... broken. Seems like the Indian family that owns this place is rude and DIRTY. I guess they like living in filth, other wise they wouldn't have let their motel turn into this. I think there are many drug addicts, **********s, and maybe even some type of homeless people living here? Just is very run down, very dirty, very disgusting, and very expensive to stay in absolute FILTH. I would NEVER recommend anyone stay here. I would avoid this place AT ALL COSTS. It is worth the extra money to stay somewhere clean, I PROMISE. My boyfriend wanted to stay in a nice hotel and I told him no, let's try and save some money on this trip. BIG mistake, I should've listened to him. I am appalled at the condition of this place. I don't know how this place would ever pass inspection. You can tell the owners pocket all the money and do NOTHING to keep the place updated. It's disgraceful and I am going to try contacting whoever is in charge of regulating motels and hotels and approving them to stay open. again, DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY, you'll feel dirtier leaving than you would after a week without water. it's GROSS
