The coffee table-top easily articulates upward and back toward the chairs to serve as a small dining table. There are a few books there for children of all ages plus some thought-provoking books for adults, such as "The Four Agreements" and "The Power of Now".OUTDOOR DINING AREASThe unit has a glass-topped dining table just outside the entry that is the perfect size for 2 to 4 people. There are also outdoor dining areas with dramatic ocean views on both of the decks! (See pictures.)WI-FIThere is excellent Wi-Fi but no TV, so plan to relax, read or take your coffee out to sit on one of the decks to enjoy the breathtaking views; from there you can see rocky outcroppings, large sea stacks & sandy beaches all along the coast.BEACH ACCESSWe're located on a cliff directly above the beach with no current access down the side of the cliff to the beach below, but it is just a two minute drive to beach-level parking on North Harris Beach at Harris Beach State Park.SOUTH HARRIS BEACHSouth Harris Beach, which is one of the best ocean beaches on the Oregon coast, is even closer; it is just a ten minute walk or a one minute drive to get there. Outside you have access to the whole yard, front porch with rocking chairs (pillows are inside in the entry table below and throw blankets in the living room if needed), a deck overlooking the fully fenced backyard. There are two outdoor tables one that seats 4 and the smaller one 2 with chairs. Parking: There are 2 spots on the steep driveway and two in the garage. The garage can be accessed by the keypad provided out front. There is parking on the street in front of the house. However, please note our street is very narrow, so we highly recommend parking off the street.URGENT NOTICE: STRICT PARKING POLICYWe kindly emphasize a crucial rule: the property strictly prohibits the parking of commercial vehicles, boats, trailers, motorhomes, truck campers, or any other recreational vehicles or equipment anywhere on the premises or in communal areas, including the front of the house. You can hear and smell the ocean as we are across the street from the ocean on a flag lot. Access the north end of Harris Beach from the neighborhood trail or walk/bike down the Harris Beach paved trail that runs from our neighborhood to Harris Beach State Park. Brookings has breathtaking beaches, majestic, forested hiking trails, the amazing Chetco River, close proximity to the Redwoods, a live theater, a variety of restaurants, boutique/gift style shopping and Fred Meyer for groceries/essentials, and more!
