Forenom Aparthotel Stockholm Alvik

Terrible staff, zero customer service and Isabella from Customer Care is incredibly condescending and had a bad attitude unprovoked. Would not recommend and would not stay again which is unfortunate as it is quite close to the airport and easy to get there.

When my husband booked this accomodation and I read all the awful reviews here I was really worried for our stay and was even considering to cancel our reservation. I’m so happy we didn’t! We’ve stayed for 5 days and everything was great,we didn’t experience any of the previously mentioned issues. Yes it didn’t exactly looked like the pics and wasn’t really an apartment more like a room with a kitchenette and a bathroom, but it was clean,well equipped and quiet. It’s super close to the Alvik metro station so you can reach the downtown within 15 mins. There is a free laundry room and the gym as well which can be used 24-7. Tip: there is a live chat on the Forenom website in case of any queries, they can assist immediately. We’d definitely stay here again :)

Do not stay at this hotel, firstly, it was incredibly run-down. Secondly, I accidentally left a pair of headphones hanging on one of the bed lamps. I realized it immediately and contacted the hotel, and they claim they haven't seen them, even though I'm sure they're still hanging there. When I was drying my hair with their hairdryer, it almost caught fire as it started glowing red and smoking before shutting off on its own. I really don't recommend anyone to stay at this hotel; there are much fresher options available for the same price.

Our group were travelling from the UK. On the day we arrived we received a text message that gave us code for front door and room code. After an hour in Central train station we found the green metro line, this took us in and out of alvik every 3 mins. The green line journey was approx 7 stops and took around 20mins. Some rooms were extremely noisy due being next to the train station and dual carriageway. We originally find the hotel, mainly thanks to Google maps. Codes sent to be let in front door worked so we jumped into excelators and off we went to our rooms. The key pad I found easy to use. As soon as I opend the door and switched the lights on the smell of rotting food hit me. On inspection there was mouldy food left in cupboards. Automatically I check the microwave which has food caked everywhere inside. The cupboards that plates and cup were kept in had some kind of congealed substance dotted everywhere. I then noticed that a drink had been dropped on the floor and not cleaned up. I then noticed spatters and smudges of blood on the floor area. I would have been straight down to reception to request a clean room. However it seems reception is no longer manned. Free tea, coffee and fruit is no longer offered. 5mins walk is a supermarket where I bought cleaning products. It's not safe staying in these conditions at the best of times, yet alone covid times. I scrubbed that one bed apartment which is not what I wanted to do after travelling 14hrs. That night there were people running up and down room hallways banging doors and trying handles. We returned one afternoon and 4 armed assault police officers were running in and out of the hotel. All in all our stay was a disaster. I only write of my room, however both of my colleagues suffered the same. The toilet had not been cleaned and a massive jobbie was waiting for him. An headboard completely fell off mid sleep. No locks on 10th floor windows. The only saving grace for me was that the bed was clean and comfy.

One of the worst accommodations I've stayed at (Forenom Alvik). Poor cleaning and incredibly worn compared to what you pay for. Impossible to get a hold of customer service, 10 days since I sent my first email demanding a refund since we want to leave earlier but have not received a response even though I sent 3 emails. First and last time we chose Forenom.
