The room was beautiful and exceptional and so were the amenities. But that is where it ends. Had to pay for parking for 24 hrs. Unknown to us there were two P2 parking areas with different elevators to get to them in different parts of the building. The place was a maze where you had to use a fob to open doors just to get to your section. Different elevators went to different sections. We desperately needed a map. Got lost the next day but through our wanderings found the front desk and it was 3 pm and sign said back at 5 pm. How can that be for such a large hotel and vacation resort? The next day tried out the TV. Couldn't get it to work. The air conditioner was so brutally loud we couldn't get a decent nights sleep. We felt miserable in the morning and had a full days activities planned. Would not recommend.

First the positives. The location is great, handy to stroll round the marina or the town, plenty of shops and some nice bars / restaurants. The view from the single bedroom window is nice. The Moose McGuire's tavern on site is good, and the food and service is great. Good view from the high patio there. Now the negatives. - On arrival, it is a nightmare to find where to check in. When you walk through the ground floor doors, you are met with countless doors which need a keyfob to open. You can see a hall with two elevators the other side of a pair of locked doors. After walking up and down the corridor you finally find a door with a single elevator behind it which is not locked. You need to take this elevator to the third floor which is labelled as "L" in the elevator. Getting out of the elevator, you find another hallway with no indications of where to go. If you are lucky you may find the door to the right has been "buzzed" open by a receptionist, for us it was locked when we tried it at first. The receptionist noticed us and let us in. She gave us keyfobs and showed us to our 4th floor room via one of the twin elevators we'd seen earlier, and showed how you need the keybob to operate the elevator. Imagine doing all this when you've had a long journey and have arms full of luggage and / or cranky kids. As reception is only occupied 10:00AM to 6:00PM, I have no clue how late arrivals manage. - When you get to the room, there is a folder with information which describes how to navigate the corridors and rooms, however this would be of more use emailed to you on booking before arrival, not in the room after you've succeeded in finding it. - We were a bit disappointed to find only one toilet roll in the room. It may be worth obtaining another from reception before it's needed. We had to ask for a second one. At the price of this place, a spare toilet rolls should be in the room. - At about 08:15AM, there's a knock at the door and the cleaner tries to come in. As we'd double locked the door she went away, never to be seen for the rest of our stay. Luckily there's enough towels for two days. - The room has a small kitchenette with microwave, coffee maker and fridge. It also has plates, bowls, cutlery for two occupants and even a corkscrew. However the room has only one armchair, no other furniture. There's no dining table and chairs to sit in while you eat anything you've prepared. - Now the best bit. To get around the areas we are allowed in, you need the keyfob to open doors and operate elevators. The information folder in the room says that when you check out, to leave the keyfobs in the room. However you need the keyfob to operate the elevator. So on departure it is very easy to leave the keyfob in the room, walk to the elevator then find the elevator won't operate with no keyfob - BUT you can't get the keyfob out of the now locked room. So you are stuck in the fourth-floor lobby in front of the elevators, can't go up, can't go down, can't

The rooms are very nice, the restaurant was clean with good service, the location is very convenient but the customer service is almost non-existent. If you call they very rarely answer the phone, if you leave a message as requested it takes hours if not days to respond. During our stay the front desk staff had to leave for the day and they had no back up. We understood its not a typical hotel set up but if your advertising for hotel guests you should feel obligated to treat customers like customers and provide essential communication.

I just went for the day with grandchildren and we really enjoyed it. Only bad thing was the closest Restaurant doesn't have a kids menu. The ice cream shop was closed. So there wasn't a proper place for the kids to eat that was close by.

First when we arrived you could not find to where you could check in, no direction or signs. Took 20minutes to get to reception, we had just driven 7 hours from Windsor, age 76 and 83, really tired. The manager then met us in the parking lot to show us to our room because it is so confusing, her words also, and she did say she was trying to get new signage. We get to the room and internet sign on does not work, she comes up to inform us that it was changed this morning, why does not she tell us when we checked in. Next we asked for ice and said they do not provide it, it will try and find some. Next, the room, nothing like the website, I would say it is less than 3 stars. One chair only in the room. Next you must be an IT specialist to work the TV. The office hours end at 8pm every day but no one was there after 7pm, so no TV. We went to the restaurant that is attached called Moose mcQuires, at 5:30, stood for 10 minutes to be seated and was told they could let any more, people in because they had only chef and they had a wedding upstairs, the restaurant had about 10 people in it at this time . Would never come back, poorly unorganized somebody must try and be a client and do the check in process right until the next day and try and eat in the restaurant.
