What an amazing weekend we had! This hotel has one of the nicest staff I've ever seen. You are looked after diligently from the very moment you arrive until it's, sadly, time to say goodbye. The restaurants serve great food and of course the surroundings of the hotel are peaceful and serene, full of options for walks through natural beauty. (Remember to pack wellies for tackling lots of mud in winter.) Will have to come again in summer.

Visited with our 2 young children and grandparents at the beginning of January. I’m not going to go in to great detail but all I can say is that our visit was fantastic from the moment we arrived until the morning we left. Top marks for the cleanliness, friendliness of every single member of the staff, quality of the facilities and just the general feeling in the place. The quality of the food and drinks was also excellent quality and the Spa very relaxing (even with a 5 & 3 year old) Many thanks for a very memorable trip
