Mantra Broadbeach on the Park

Location was good and we liked the fact that the 2 bedroom had 2 bathrooms and both had a spa tub which the kids really enjoyed. Furnishings a little dated but still a comfy stay overall.

Fantastic location, couldn't fault front desk staff, very helpful and welcoming. Traffic noise once in bed quite loud (we were there on Supercar weekend). 3 bed apartment was spacious, if not a little tired. Beds are great. A couple of housekeeping issues, though nothing too dramatic. Close to shops, restaurants, bars and tram. Pool area is small and could do with a shoosh up to be more inviting. Very satisfied with our stay.

We recently got married at the Mantra Broadbeach on the Park. We stayed in a three bedroom apartment on the 16th Floor, and the room exceeded our expectations. The view from our balcony was magnificent, and the modern clean and spacious apartment provided us with everything we needed. For our special occasion, we must say a massive thankyou to Corey the Reception Manager. He was extremely helpful from the outset, and was always on hand if we had any questions or issues. We have to say a big thank you to Corey. He put us at ease, and always had a smile on his face. We would highly recommend a stay at the Mantra Broadbeach on the Park. Great location, beach, restaurants and grocery stores all within easy walking distance. Clean comfortable room, facilities all worked fine. Recommended as a good value location in central Broadbeach. There aren't that many of them left.

I try to stay at Accor properties when I travel and have always enjoyed the accommodation and the service, however Mantra Broadbeach service has been disappointing. Whilst I was at a meeting my wife went to check in at the Mantra Broadbeach. The member of staff on Reception queried whether I was actually coming to stay, to which my wife said yes, he is at a meeting at the moment. The staff member continued to give my wife the third degree as to why I wasn't there to check in and then picked up the phone and called me, interrupting my meeting to confirm I was checking in. This is disgraceful behaviour towards my wife and I. To make matters worse, returning late after dinner we discovered the airconditioning was not working. I tried everything but there was no power to the controller. Fortunately there was a pedestal fan in the wardrobe which helped.

Close to restaurants, beach, supermarket and walking distance to Pacific Fair shopping centre. Older apartments but recently renovated. Room was nicely decorated, clean and spacious. Staff were kind and helpful. Thumbs up for a Yo-Chi is around the corner :)
