Modern, clean, beautifully designed, with lovely staff, and in the centre of town. Good directions, easy parking on site, or close by at a reasonable cost. Lovely breakfast, bed very comfortable with crisp linen, beautiful bathrooms, friendly staff, small pool but very welcoming with lovely terrace and nice steam room. We would return.

This hotel offers excellent service, breakfast, spa zones, wet and dry sauna (huge). It is worth every penny. There is a tiny but impeccable pool at the roof top from where u can see the duomo and clock tower, that is a delight, and all the people working there is so nice, warm and professional that it deserves and extra star just for this merit alone. A real pleasure. Choose the rooms facing the river with those angled windows from where you have almost the impression of being over the water. Love it.

This is a beautiful and stylish hotel, with very helpful staff and a high quality breakfast. The hotel is next to the river and a very short walk to the central piazza and cathedral. You couldn’t ask for a better location. I stayed here with my wife and two children, they loved the quality and location of this hotel. The only downside is that for the price you’d like to see air conditioning in the rooms. During August it was so hot the windows needed to be opened. As it’s next to a river it was quite noisy. Also, a local wine festival was on that night (which was great by the way) but it meant for some noise in the early hours as people made their way home. I’d stay here again. The staff were very accommodating to my family.

I am always reluctant to give negative feedback, but my experience was extremely disappointing. As I booked, nothing indicated I would stay in a garret room. Management later maintained the pictures were clear enough, but I strongly disagree. When I found out upon arrival, I immediately asked reception to be relocated, just to learn the hotel was fully booked. I asked to void the reservation for good (at no cost, obviously) but staff flatly refused. Not an apology, no other compensation offered (not even a discount at their own restaurant). So I had to stay in a very inconvenient situation for three nights. Only on day two management offered to cancel the rest of the stay, but clearly, at that stage (already one night into the stay, with bags unpacked for me and a 5-year old), I had no interest in finding another hotel. Notwithstanding the 'reservation accident', the accommodation was a letdown under many respects. I paid 200+€/night to be housed in a garret room, with limited fresh air and light even with the dormer window fully tilted outwards. As I am 6"+ ft. tall, I kept bumping my head on the ceiling every time I had to get in our out of bed. No air conditioning in the room, so it's either sleeping with the window open (you get river noise and light at dawn) or closed (claustrophobia+severe heat). The furniture is outright crappy and old (mind: not ancient). Towels were few and scratchy, amenity kit almost nonexistent. Overall, a 3*** at best with prices of a 4****L.

I wonder if it can be acceptable that a hotel like this that prides itself on being historic (the first hotel plaque in Bressanone stands out) should demonstrate all this incompetence. After looking for reviews and offers on dedicated sites, I preferred to contact the hotel by phone making specific requests, repeated in writing in the booking email, and preferring to book directly at the hotel, obtaining double the price of the booking portals, but I am satisfied and accept, hoping for greater attention to requests, and more punctual professionalism from direct contact! But no! No clarification regarding location in the city, distance of parking spaces for disabled people (and this is really serious !!!) and no clarification regarding obstacle course to get there (there are 3 road interruption points for works that the navigators do not detect and after 3 empty laps not even phoning I had the necessary help to reach Ponte Aquila! Besides, after a 5-hour journey in pouring rain it was not possible to have dinner because from 9 pm - on Saturday evening in high season - everything was closed and an unwelcome surprise the restaurant in the structure does not exist, and neither does the internal car park (you have to go over half a km which for a person who uses a cane and has difficulty walking is a huge distance) the external one costs 9 euros a day , really scandalous!?!?!?

It is not without reason that this wonderful hotel with its excellent staff is "to blame" for the fact that I have had the feeling for more than 20 times, even if the stay is usually only for two days, that I have enjoyed a wonderful, relaxing time! It is mandatory to enjoy the Finstsetrwirt every time! It is simply impressive with which loving professional way the guest is spoiled here! I'm really a big fan!! ;)
