I paid €39 for the night, plus €9 and a bit for the breakfast buffet that starts at 8am (until 10am I think): honestly, for this price it's an excellent service. Especially since the hotel is opposite the train station, so for a stopover in Brive arriving by train in the evening and leaving again in the morning by train it was perfect. Apparently you can check in until 11pm and even later. Single room = 1 single bed, and everything is there: bathroom and toilet, very decent shower even for a large person, very good quality towels, well-stocked soap, hairdryer, TV. Excellent buffet breakfast: croissants, excellent fresh (and hot) bread, excellent coffee. Extremely friendly staff. You can quickly get to the center on foot. In conclusion, I am delighted with this stay and having chosen this hotel. Thank you to the team at this hotel.

cet avis concerne uniquement restaurant de l'hôtel Abelha, Les Gaillards : Je m'y étais arrêté il y a deux ans avec des amis qui étaient venus me chercher à la gare. Sans être extraordinaire, j'avais trouvé ce lieu convivial et d'un bon rapport qualité/prix. Cette année (fin août 2025), les prix ont augmenté (ce qui est normal) et la qualité a fortement baissé : pour le fish and chips le poisson consiste en deux bâtonnets de poisson pané accompagné d'une petite portion de frites un peu grasses... La mine renfrogné du serveur qui prend les commandes fait pitié à voir, la serveuse qui apporte les plats compense ce manque d'amabilité. L'endroit est spacieux et les toilettes propres. Mais la prochaine fois nous irons voir ailleurs plutôt que de nous installer systématiquement au plus près de la gare.
