It was a really nice hotel! Having a bathtub is nice for Japanese people. I had a lot of things to do so I wanted to leave my luggage for two days, but they were happy to accommodate me and I'm very grateful. The price wasn't too expensive, so I'd like to stay here again if I have the opportunity.

Good central location, room clean and tidy. Staff were excellent, especially in concierge and reception, who gave superb customer service. The experience was ruined by some irritations which could easily be fixed. In the bathroom, I was pleased to have a bathtub as well as a shower but there was no soap or shampoo for the bath: I had to walk backwards and forwards to the shower to get soap and shampoo when I needed it. I had to leave a note to ask the housekeeping staff to leave me a bar of soap. No shower attachment in the bath for hair-washing or bath-cleaning. Water temperature in the shower highly variable (other guests reported this too). The elevators were slow to arrive: sometimes a very long wait. The card readers in the elevators were temperamental, lots of guests struggled to make them work. In the breakfast area, decaffeinated coffee was not included: had to ordered separately and pay extra (expensive too). The omelette chef was never there and had to be summoned. Odd arrangement where there are no stairs for those that want exercise or dislike waiting for slow elevators or dislike elevators altogether. Even the one floor down from reception to concierge can only be travelled by elevator. Some attention to detail please Marriott: your staff are great but I wouldn’t stay again because of the other issues above, unless they are remedied.

Hotel operations vary in size, function, complexity, and cost. Most hotels and major hospitality companies have set industry standards to classify hotel types. An upscale full-service hotel facility offers luxury amenities, full-service accommodations, an on-site restaurant, and the highest level of personalized service, such as a concierge, room service, and clothes-ironing staff. Full-service hotels often contain upscale full-service facilities with many full-service accommodations, an on-site full-service restaurant, and a variety of on-site amenities. Boutique hotels are smaller independent, non-branded hotels that often contain upscale facilities. Small to medium-sized hotel establishments offer a limited amount of on-site amenities. Economy hotels are small to medium-sized hotel establishments that offer basic accommodations with little to no services. Extended stay hotels are small to medium-sized hotels that offer longer-term full-service accommodations compared to a traditional hotel.

For breakfast, they cooperated with another restaurant. The environment is very good and the choices are abundant. For accommodation, we are on the 8th floor, just in time to catch upstairs to repair the subway, it is quite noisy.

We stayed in apartment 1001 recently for a business trip. The beds were comfortable and we had everything we needed but the apartments are poorly sealed so it was quite noisy with a draught at night time. The unit was in need of carpet cleaning and the sliding door to the ensuite bathroom needed repair. We didn't use the kitchen facilities so can't comment on that. I would stay again if the price was right but it wouldn't be my preferred accommodation.

Very nice hotel, the facilities are very good! You can simply heat the food yourself. It is also very convenient for a suite to live together. like very much. Opposite is WOOLWORTH, very convenient. The service is also very good, the oven is broken, help us to bake PIZZA, thank you very much! Overall very good. I like WOOLWORTH very much, and Australian milk is delicious. Juice is OK, but I prefer Australian milk and I feel that Hawaiian fruit juice is better. But milk is really good in Australia.

Chosen for the location and boy, that was spot on. So central to transport links, shops and the river, it's ideal if tou want to explore. The rooms are so big! Chose a two bedroomed apartment for three of us that was huge for a city centre hotel. Good kitchen, washing and drying facilities and big lounge area. Reception were outstandingly polite and helpful, and a previous reviewer commented on the peace that envelops you as you enter, which is a relief from the hustle and bustle of the city. Just be aware that it is an old building. Hence, when your next-door neighbour turns on the shower, there can be some interesting noise from the pipework. Also, you are in a city centre and I was surprised to wake at 0200hrs ro the sound of a CCTV camera announcing to whoever was shouting and screaming in the street that they were being recorded- very C3PO!

When we arrived at the hotel in the evening, there was only a concierge, no one at the front desk, and we needed the concierge to call the front desk to help us check in. The concierge service was commendable, but when I entered the room, I found that there was no amenity or mineral water, and I was even angry that there was no bottled water in the minibar. This is completely different from my experience at The Star and The Darling in Gold Coast and Sydney! The Star in Brisbane has a long way to go to become a good hotel!

GGuest UserI stay here when in Brisbane - it's conveniently close to Roma Street Station, I can check in no matter how late I arrive, and I always get a good nights sleep. The breakfast in the morning fills me for the day, and the staff have always been friendly and super helpful.

GGuest UserI had a perfectly pleasant stay until thhe day before I checked out when someone from reception entered the room (while I was in there) under the impression that I was supposed to have checked out. It was probably a simple mistake, which while invasive is also understandable. No apology, but they are mostly meaningless anyway and it probably wasn't the fault of the person who entered the room. Hadbit ended there I wouldn't have mentioned it, but the same thing happened again when despite the 'do not disturb' sign on the door housekeeping also entered the room also under the mistaken impression that I had checked out. I called reception after the second incident and was put on hold for 18 minutes before they eventually tried to put the blame on housekeeping (and repeatedly got my name wrong, which I wouldn't have cared about if it weren't for the being on hold and the weasily attempt to put what was clearly a reception error on the housekeeping staff). The whole incident left a lingering bad impression, which is unfortunate after an otherwise very pleasant and uneventful stay.

GGuest UserThe location is not downtown, but if you have a car, there is no inconvenience in moving. The hotel is clean and the service is good Especially the restaurant steak on the lobby floor was very delicious. There is no inconvenience in using the facilities, but I was surprised that there was a power outage once.

XXIAOLINGI chose this hotel near the airport because I had to rent a car and fly to Brisbane Airport early in the morning. The hotel is easy to find, the left side of the road. After the arrival, the standard room was not available. We gave us a lot of large bed sheets. The room is small and compact, but it can't be an extra bed. There is no noise when resting. The hotel has convenient parking, and it is a gas station next door. It is also very convenient to refuel in front of the car. Breakfast is 15 knives, we have not booked in time, it should be in the small cafe on the first floor. After walking, I found that the iPad was gone, and the hotel quickly confirmed that it was coming. Now I am looking for Ctrip.com to bring it back. Ctrip service is great!

GGuest UserI wish I had of read these reviews prior to booking a room. I wanted something close to the airport and at last minute this was all that was left. I don't consider $148 a cheap room for 1 night, a shared backpackers room would of been cleaner. I got a text after booking and paying asking me to enter more details again including credit card, it said to upload a photo, didn't say upload your licence so therefor never sent the room code, when I rang I got a lady I could not understand who explained I didn't need to worry because I could do it at reception, when we arrived at reception the lady told me I MUST DO IT OR I CAN'T STAY!! 1hr later and 2 others in reception having the same issues we were given a room code, the room smelt like a dead wet dog, we were on ground level the curtain was see through and didn't block any of the elements out, the shower was that small you could only fit in one leg at a time.... prior to arriving I asked if they had a laundry on site I was told yes to only be told once checked in the washing machine is broken.. NEVER EVER AGAIN.

GGuest UserStayed overnight in the Brisbane quarters after having to make a last minute booking and being faced with limited accomodation options. I think this place is trying to promote itself as a hybrid hostel/hotel. However having stayed there it’s clearly the former rather than the later. There is of course, nothing wrong with that - but I think it’s been a source of some confusion and previous negative reviews. On the plus side the staff were really friendly, the location was central and the private room we stayed in was fine - with TV (with Netflix), a clean private bathroom, small bar fridge and comfortable bed. It had a compact infinity pool, small kitchen and fitness space (very limited though). It looked recently renovated. Breakfast was included but for memory this was just cereal and toast. On the negative side - it is a hostel. This isn’t really clear on TripAdvisor for some reason. Anyone >40 years of age will feel like a dinosaur here. It carries all the traditional tells of a hostel - you get your towel assigned at reception, it’s noisy and the sheets are a bit threadbare. They will ask for your passport or drivers licence as your form of ID. Overall it’s a great option if you know what you’re in for. I think the private rooms are only worth it if they are priced around 100 dollars or less as there are usually plenty of hotels around that 150-200 mark.

NNewtonCheck in with very helpful staff member. Room spacious with comfy beds and bedding. Location is perfect right in heart of Southbank with cafes and restaurants everywhere. Double glazing on windows kept out train noise pretty . (Train line runs near hotel) and despite central location the rooms are very quiet. The rooms could do with a refresh as some furniture is a bit scuffed and shabby but did not interfere in comfort of our stay.

4465WayneDebWe stayed in room 19 which we found to be very noisy. The slamming of doors whenever guests were leaving their rooms was constant - through to the early hours of the morning. Guests talking in the hallway, cars going past on the main road and items rattling on the roof. If the TV was on, most sounds were not heard. It wasn't until you were ready to settle in for a goods night rest, that every sound became apparent. We were also disappointed with the manager during our stay - Friday 7th June to Monday 10th June 2019. We had not met this gentlemen before. He treated us with disdain and it showed on his face. We showed him 2 drink vouchers we hadn't used on our previous visit and he looked at them and said they are old and not to be used. We said there was no expiry date and he said ”doesn't matter” & threw them in the bin and stared at us. Very embarrassing to say the least. We asked for soda water with no ice and no lime and he made a soda water with ice and lime. We have stayed here 5 times previously and have always been treated like valued guests. This trip we felt like lepers. We are not sure if we will be back. It is a very convenient location and the housekeeper is very thorough and very polite. the bed and pillows were comfortable.

何游天下On May 18, 2018, after leaving Sydney, Australia, early this morning, we took Virgin Airlines flight VA925 and arrived at Brisbane Airport on time. After collecting our luggage, everyone took the local tourist bus to Brisbane Chinatown. There are many Chinese-run shops and Chinese restaurants everywhere. Brisbane is home to hundreds of thousands of Chinese, and even the ticket window of the Ferris wheel is marked in Chinese.

It is definitely worth the archaeological enthusiasts to come and enjoy.
South Bank Market
多多A variety of vendors allow for interesting browsing. There are some very unique Christmas presents to bring back to Canada. Walking along Kangaroo Corner for a long time, then having breakfast on the South Bank where we read the newspaper ... Market decoration is great.
