What a great experience at The Point, very warm and welcoming staff to greet us first time, and then always wanting to help. Dining at the Lambert Resto was also awesome! Wonderful and warm service, thanks Joe and Yvonne for the lovely experience. I would highly recommend anyone wanting to just pop into Brissy for a short business trip to stay here! A very comfortable hotel, not luxurious but very delicate and clean. recommend! It's across a small park from the city hall and it takes less than ten minutes to walk there. The location is very good and it's quiet to sleep in. If your English is not good, you can still communicate by email. You can pick up the keys by yourself. It is very simple. If you arrive at the store after 8pm, you need to contact them by email and give them your passport and credit card photos. They will help you check in in advance. They can rent it for more than 50 Australian dollars at the airport. Walk up a small corridor. There is a small iron box on the wall next to the door. Enter the password and you can get the key. There is a free bus at the door, but it is not needed at all. It is not far from any scenic spots. There are also free boats in this city. At night You can watch the night view, walk around the river, and stop at various places on both sides. On Monday morning, you can see trucks providing food, laundry, and bathing for homeless people at the door. Four times a week, you can also see this kind of charity in the park down the slope at night. Activity is another organization!

Stayed here for 7 nights at the beginning of April. Check in was quick and although we requested a quiet room, we were sadly given a room that faced onto a road and the helipad of the children’s hospital. So, the room was rather noisy from the traffic and from helicopter landing and taking off at night. Even with ear plugs on I could still hear the traffic. Room: Room 714 was very clean, it seems the Australian standards of cleanliness is much higher and better than at our previous Marriott stays in Cardiff, Wales and in Edinburgh, Scotland. Housekeeping at this hotel is very thorough at cleaning, as we didn’t feel any dust on the surfaces. My partner is blind and the first thing he does is touch the surfaces to get to know the layout of the room and he was impressed that tables, chairs & walls didn’t feel dusty. The housekeeping ladies always provided us with fresh towels and 2 bottles of water daily, as well as change the bed linen when requested. These ladies (day as well as evening housekeeping) are all lovely and friendly, requests for extra toilet paper, tissues, even slippers, toothbrush and toothpaste were promptly supplied with a smile. The housekeeping team at this hotel should be commended for keeping rooms/bathroom clean to a high standard. Reception: The ladies at reception Jess and other lady (who doesn’t wear a name badge) are efficient when checking people in however, they were not so friendly once you’ve checked in, they both came across as cold, sourpusses. Every day we went past reception and these 2 ladies never smiled or said hello. Once we initiated a hello and got a forced response. The male reception staff at night and on the days when the ladies were off are much better as they always greeted people as they walked past reception. Location: This hotel is perfectly located as it is close to all the restaurants in the Southbank and there’s lots to choose from. It is also about 2 mins walk to Goodwill bridge which connects to the Botanical Gardens. From this hotel everything is within walking distance, we walked to Queen Street shopping mall daily and it took us about 10 mins via Southbank parklands and crossing the bridge. We are not super fast walkers but we found everything in close proximity to this hotel. We will definitely stay at this hotel again when we return to Australia next year.

Convenient location in Brisbane city. Reception provided great service, was polite and welcoming. We had a warm welcome and a quick, easy and fuss-free check in process. Thank you Vania! (Hope I got her name right) Amazing view from the Sky Lounge located on the 36th floor. However the apartment was slightly dirty. We put up the sign to make up our room but it was not made at all, even when the housekeeping staff was cleaning the room next to ours when we left. We left the hotel to go out in the morning and when we returned at night the ”make up the room” sign was still on our door and the room was exactly as we left it when we went out. Room wasn't made, toiletries weren't replenished.

Great location, apartment was lovely and spacious and staff were very helpful with arrival and attended issue with shower quickly . Would definitely stay again

This was the best breakfast I have ever eaten, they went to so much trouble for all there, there was a quiz, a raffle with great prizes, the place was decorated beautifully & the food was superb, I wanted to steal the baked leg ham it was so good & as it was buffet you could have as much as you wanted - it was a thoroughly enjoyable morning & the staff were very attentive, there was nothing left to chance & I look forward to next year

Danny was very professional, friendly, welcoming and helpful during my booking via phone and my check in and check out. 5 stars for customer service ***** The cleaners were friendly and helpful when I needed a bath plug and even gave me some complementary bath salts. The room was very clean and tidy, you can tell the cleaning staff care. Well done Best Western!

Stayed here for a couple of months for work nearby. Had a great reception from staff. very friendly, helpful and inviting. Which remained throughout my visit, nothing was too much trouble, always helpful. Room was perfect, city skyline view at night from the balcony was great. Room facilities gave me all I needed for cooking and storage. Cleanliness was outstanding across whole property. Car parking secure. I love early morning walks and this was an easy stretch to the river for exercise. I think they even ordered perfect weather for me. Great hotel, well done 😊
