Hotel Minerva

Clean hotel, outdated but comfortable rooms, presence of a swimming pool for the summer period and an active tennis court in good condition. Too bad about the meal service if you choose the half board formula. Meals are not always up to the standard of the hotel with the risk that on the days from Friday to Sunday there will be no service, and with the method of booking meals the evening before, a technique that may be fine in a hospital in a guesthouse but not in a hotel nowadays and with very limited choice.

On 18 July 2023 I called to book a room from 6 to 16 August and it was available. I wait to receive the booking sheet and advance to pay but nothing after 2 days. no response to email and WhatsApp. I call and they tell me to be patient. On the 22nd I receive emails that have no availability from the 12th to the 16th. They deceived me and made me waste days of research. Little seriousness and respect. I came last year and it was convenient due to the proximity to Brindisi. You will never see me again and I will inform all my colleagues and acquaintances of what happened.

Ho soggiornato un mese qui per lavoro. Pulizia , cucina , e stanze tutte nella norma. Personale di sala super cordiale e disponibile. Vorrei precisare inoltre la grande professionalità e gentilezza della receptionist mora,mi sembra si chiami Sara. Lo consiglierei!

“Hotel” gleicht einer Jugendherberge und das für 70€ - außer der Rezeption ist das Hotel einfach nur furchtbar. Das Frühstück eine Zumututung, allerdings Personal mit Händen auf dem Rücken verschränkt was einen Grandhotel Ehre gemacht hätte 😂 dann gibt es Chemiesäfte in Plastikbechern …. Einfach furchtbar so einem Hotel überhaupt einen Stern zu geben.

Eravamo già stati in questo hotel un paio di anni fa, e ci siamo ritornati volentieri. Abbiamo chiesto una camera quadrupla con doccia, non con vasca, ed abbiamo avuto una grande camera al primo piano, in fondo alla grande struttura. La camera era pulita, con tv ed aria condizionata e con un bagno abbastanza grande. Come arredi e letti e la stessa struttura, andrebbero rimodernati; sono abbastanza antiquati ma confortevoli, e se c'è la pulizia, il resto viene da se. Tra l'altro in camera ci si sta il tempo di cambiarsi e la notte a dormire alla fine. In ogni caso, nulla di quanto letto o trovato in altre recensioni come insetti, capelli o cose rotte. La piscina è grande e pulita, c'è la doccia e dei bagni, anche se qui la pulizia ed i doccini lasciano a desiderare. Sempre in piscina c'è anche un parte bassa per i più piccoli, ma niente bagnino e nel tardo pomeriggio diventa un po' ventilata. In ogni caso, è aperta fino alle 20:00; io, mia moglie ed i nostri due bambini di 10 e 4 anni ci siamo trovati benissimo. La colazione ha orari molto ampi, dalle 7:30 fino alle 10:30 se ricordo bene, e ha molta varietà di crostate, dolci freschi, biscotti e vari succhi. Caffè ed altre bevande bisogna prenderli dalle macchinette automatiche ( tutto buono tranne la cioccolata, abbastanza annacquata ). C'è anche la possibilità delle bevande dal bar, ma queste hanno un costo a parte. Ci soggiornano spesso le forze dell'ordine, essendo la zona vicino ad una base militare; quindi la notte si può stare più che tranquilli. Riguardo il personale, sono stati tutti molto gentili e disponibili. Se ci sarà la possibilità, ci ritorneremo. Grazie
