The building and interiors are absolutely beautiful, and the rooms themselves are quite nice. However, the amenities were underwhelming, there was no hand soap, only one tissue, and a very limited selection of toiletries.
Room service was also disappointing. No one answered our call, and when we contacted reception, we were told that the items listed on the 24/7 menu weren’t actually available — with no alternative suggestions offered. When I called the concierge, the person answered the phone with a curt “YEP?”, which felt unprofessional and dismissive.
While the hotel itself has a lot of aesthetic appeal and the restaurant and bar staff were genuinely lovely, the overall service experience left much to be desired. I've received better service at 3-star hotels.
I also visited the spa to inquire about treatment prices and was told by staff that they didn’t know. For a hotel positioned as a luxury destination, the service did not meet expectations.
I wouldn’t stay here again but it wasn’t an unpleasant stay, just expected more
