3-Star Hotels in Brighton and Hove

The hotel is a great location so close to the beach. We had a room at the back of the hotel facing a building covered in scaffolding, which wasnt the best view but we could still see the sea from the corner of the window. The floorboards above us were noisy as people moved around, and every night there were people at the nearby pub, who were noisy until 4am!! And it's a shame there's no parking included with the hotel, we paid a fortune to park at the neighboring hotels car park even with a discount! Breakfast was ok, your standard range of English breakfast items such as eggs, hash browns, mushrooms etc. There was fruit and a couple of pastry options too. The hotel is clean, modern and has lovely spa facilities which were great and expanded our holiday experience. Shower is very hot so be careful, and they need to install mixer taps in the sink so guests don't scald themselves!

Location is great, but I understand why reviews are so mixed. Room was really cold at night. Right next to a nightclub smoking area so super noisy until early in the morning every night. Booked because there was a good price on the day, but I wouldn't stay again.

My husband and I stayed for 4 nights at the Kings. We enjoyed every minute. The staff were all friendly, helpful and did everything to make our stay just perfect. Our double room was large,beautifully clean and very comfortable. Breakfasts were great with plenty of choice and in a delightful bright breakfast room. The Kings is ideally located on the seafront. We will definitely be back. Thanks to all the staff at the Kings Hotel.

Our stay at Britannia Study Hotel was lovely. The staff were friendly and approachable, the room was clean and reasonably priced, check in/check out was quick and easy. We arrived a few hours before check in and were allowed to go to our room early to store our luggage which was a nice surprise, when we got into the room we were taken aback by how clean and well laid out it was. The bed was comfortable, the bathroom was clean and the facilities good. Overall, the room was fantastic, the location is perfectly central and the value for money is great. However, outside of our window was some sort of ventilation/cooling unit which was incredibly loud and came on intermittently all day and night, and was loud even with the windows shut. Lack of AC in the middle of June did not help the situation as we needed the windows open through the night. A stand-fan was provided but we were unsure about leaving it on through the night. Facilities in the room were good, sockets by the beds is always good and a desk and chair were provided. However, the chair was stained and so we decided not to use it. This is the only place where the cleanliness slipped.

Very nice cozy rooms but very small

The hotel is a little hard to find as it’s in a row of a few of them, parking is outside but I chose to park a mile away, Brighton is fun for parking and there was a marathon event on so I couldn’t get to the road the hotel was on if I wanted to The hotel itself is nice enough, the rooms are themed, mine was marakesh, which was pretty much a lamp The room was clean and tidy, but very small, with a view of some walls opposite, but that was all ok, I only stayed for one night The shower was nice and hot and they gave free shampoo and shower gel and the lady on reception put the heating on, which as it was freezing outside (and in my room until i turned the radiator on) it was appreciated The bed was nice and comfy with about 6 pillows I booked this hotel directly and it was the best price I could find If you want a stay right near the sea you can’t go wrong with sea spray, only other comment was my room was up loads of steep stairs so if you don’t handle stairs well it might not be for you

Close to the sea, the first floor has its own bar, free breakfast is good, the reception staff are very welcoming. Very satisfied family hotel

First time in Brighton here. Lovely place but there were a few things Paskins did that made things harder than they should be. There was no issue getting in the door with the code you put in the keypad. But particularly what there was an issue with was the locks on the door of my actual room, I tried to get members of staff to aid in showing me how not to get it jammed but no matter which way I turned the key it would not unlock, mostly every time I tried to ask for them to actually get my key out my door so I could leave my hotel (because obviously I needed to leave it to explore) there was a vibe of sighing and contempt which I didn't really appreciate seeing as I was paying £130 for two nights!! I had to sometimes sleep with my key stuck in the door at night which is awkward. (Solo traveller makes it extra dodgy!) There was also no soap both nights, luckily I brought hand sanitizer because of covid, had my room cleaned too and there still was zero soap. I was looking forward to receiving the infamous 'ritzy rolls' (pastries guests apparently got) I saw on TripAdvisor prior to going but both nights I never received one, I thought originally it was because the first night I went out early for breakfast but I slept in late prior to leaving the second and I still didn't get one. It is nice decorated but having a belittling tone to paying customers will not help your business grow so next time I go back to Brighton, I will be going somewhere else!
