Can have early check in! Comfortable and quiet with kitchen utensils. Easily accessible to railway station and sightseeing spots.
The Regency-style building that used to be townhouses is as close to Brighton seafront as it gets. Its one of those elegant picture-postcard - neo-classical beauties that face directly onto the beach with views looking out across the English Channel.
Inside the hotel the cities huge personality can be felt in the art and design as well as the architecture and energy - oh and the menu too. Its all added to the GuestHouse must-haves of help yourself pantry - Pearly Cow restaurant - event spaces - wellness concept and bar spilling out onto an outside terrace - seriously comfortable bedrooms - curious details and genuinely welcoming happy people.
At the front of the building 16 rooms are designed to showcase the jaw-dropping views of the sea and old West Pier. For the ultimate Brighton stay there is a signature suite on the ground floor accessed by its own dedicated sea-front entrance - private lounge - walk-in wardrobe - kitchenette and free-standing bath.

Very nice hotel, great environment, the smell in the room makes people feel very relaxed. But when I checked out, the hotel made a wrong deduction from me and has not dealt with this matter, which has resulted in me not receiving my refund yet.

I didn't intend to stay here, I confused this hotel with the seafront Leonardo Royal, and I was told by a taxi driver that it's a common mistake.
I was pleasantly surprised by this hotel. It has a bright reception area with a bar , restaurant, and breakfast area. There are also a few toiletteries and snacks available to buy. The staff are efficient.
My room was on the fifth floor with a view across the town. The room was very clean with a first-rate bed, largish tv., Espresso machine, a well stocked hospitality tray , slippers, toiletteries, a Mini fridge and a safe , although you are advised to leave valuable items in the reception.
I slept well, I didn't really hear any noise from inside or outside. The televisions have restricted sound. There are key cards that not only open room doors but are required to call the lifts on the ground floor.
There is a small selection of food available, pizzas steaks , pasta, fish and chips, and other pub favourites.
Breakfast is taken in the extended restaurant , there is a great selection to most guests, continental cold cuts, fruits, yoghurt, porridge, cereals, pastries, smoothies, etc. Guests can set themselves up for the day.
The seafront is approximately 15 minutes walk away, the quickest route, and it's downhill . The railway station is literally just around the corner, so this is also a good spot for those delegates attending conferences in the hotel.
Overall , I had a pleasant stay and would recommend it to others.

Staff were very helpful, friendly and welcoming.nice quiet hotel.has it's own car park but only a handful of spaces.the spaces are packed so close together that you can barely get your door open let alone get out of the car.we were told to reverse into space but then had no room to open boot to get luggage out.plus you pay extra to park but you can come and go as you please if you can get back in your car.nice idea and cheaper than car parks but literally no room to maneover car.hotel room was clean, neat& tidy but very dated.bathroom looked shabby and needs an update but was clean.could hear music, snoring from man in next room.picked a Seaview room which was lovely, however next morning windows had so much condensation we couldn't see out..only open a couple of inches too.need a squeegee to wipe windows.unfortunately despite the comfy bed I didn't sleep great as being on seafront traffic was non stop all night.however I loved the hotel and would stay again.breakfast we were given a time slot for and the food was very nice.very well situated right near the i360 tower which is well worth a visit

The services were great. Staff members were very helpful and friendly. Excellent breakfast. We enjoyed the leisure facilities. They don’t rent a lock for the lockers in the changing room, but wasn’t a big deal. The free wifi did not work in my room. They tried to fix it but didn’t work. That didn’t ruin my stay anyways. My only little suggestion is that it would have been more convenient if there were some shelves or small stools in the bathroom. The bathroom was very spacious but there wasn’t much space to put your own stuff other than just on the floor.

The Leonardo Waterfront was the perfect choice for meeting family in Brighton. We felt relaxed immediately - the staff are friendly and helpful, and the foyer (despite being huge and open plan) has lots of cosy areas for a drink or meal.
The rooms were spacious, very well-equipped and clean - one with a great sea view and the other with an internal window overlooking the foyer, which sounds unusual and potentially dark, but was actually lovely and, due to the glass ceiling, not oppressive at all. We had everything we needed; large comfy bed, good shower, fancy coffee, a fridge, a guide book to Brighton and complimentary water.
The location is great too. The main entrance is on seafront, close to the pier, and the rear doors lead straight to the Lanes, with lots of lovely shops, bars and restaurants within metres. The gym, pool, steam room and sauna were nice to use as well - like the rest of the hotel, clean and well-looked after with attentive staff. The only minor issue was that our key card disconnected a few times despite keeping it away from phone and electronics. It wasn’t too bad having to go to Reception to have it reset from the first floor, but might’ve been annoying from a room the fourth floor! Everything else more than made up for that though - thank you to all the staff for a fantastic stay!

GGuest UserWe were relocated to this hotel from the nightmare of 'Amherst hotel'. The rooms were spacious and clean and staff were friendly. We saw a free drag show one evening in the bar downstairs. The only annoying thing was the room card keys kept not working which was so irritating. LGBT friendly.
BBenpaodeyalianA hotel that is below expectations (actually, three units of a traditional British townhouse were renovated together). It is not a boutique hotel at all, but the service is good, the breakfast is decent, and the reasonable room rate makes up for the psychological gap. The house is not soundproof, and the footsteps of the upstairs are clear. It depends on luck if you meet noisy and lively tenants. Fortunately, most of the guests are elegant middle-aged and elderly people. But there are two points that must be pointed out. The so-called sea view suite is not worthy of its name. First, the sea view is very narrow, and you need to be close to the window to see it. You can only see the opposite building when facing the window. Second, when booking a room, the sofa scene shown by Ctrip is not in the room, but a photo of the check-in hall on the first floor, which misleads consumers.
GGuest UserMy second stay at Selina with my partner, last valentines it was great but this time we had our anniversary. They had a better room available so upgraded us to a seafront room.
But the room was absolutely freezing and the radiator was on a timer so it was off when we got back to the room around 11pm onward. The windows were really drafty and loud from the wind and rain outside and the duvet was thin.
Pretty room and nice staff but pity about the stay. Not the best for a winter anniversary trip.
GGuest UserI really appreciate upgrade to room sea view.
But on the night of our stay was very strong wind and omg felt like windows will fall out, we stayed up all night. Room was freezing.
In the no when I did check why the wind noise was sooo bad I realised there was a massive gap between window and frame.
On the check out girl asked how was my stay and when I said it was just alright, she wasn’t bothered to ask why and skipped to next question.
I could point out issue we had but there was a guest in front of me who was talking about the same situation and girl at reception offered her blanket and heater, sounds like it’s on good problem in hotel with windows and stuff can’t be ask to deal with it.
JJonathan WallerNice hotel in good location next to the Brighton Dome and short walk to The Lanes and the seafront.
Our initial room wasn't great - v.small and some electrical issues and nowhere to work from with a laptop - the hotel was fully booked but the management kindly offered us an upgrade to the suite at a preferred rate which was gratefully accepted and went the extra mile to install a desk and chair which made things so much easier on our 5 night stay.
Great coffee shop on the premises is a bonus.
I get the feeling they were short staffed on the cleaning front, which i won't complain about as it seems to be a common problem across the UK.
Overall a good comfortable stay and the suite was a good size with round bed, bath and walk in shower. A panoramic view provides plenty of light into the room. nice.
Thank you

GGuest UserWe stayed at this hotel as we had a wedding not too far away about 15 minute drive away. Booking a taxi was a nightmare to get home as there are not many options so as you can imagine a wedding with 100 guests or more all trying to get a cab wasn’t successful and we had to wait over an hour to get a taxi. The room was cute and clean. People at the bar and restaurant was nice but the reception was a nightmare. They were very short staff so checking out was taking forever so we just left without checking out and let the keys on the desk.
GGuest UserThe room was not large, but it felt modern and clean, just like the picture! The location was good, but it was disappointing for a place where 4 people went and paid 80,000 won per person. There was no elevator and the bathroom was shared... ㅠ But I think that date was a bit expensive. I looked up other dates and it was just a little cheaper. I would have been 99% satisfied! The bathroom was clean, but there was no shampoo. They gave us one towel each.
