South Lodge Guest House

This guest house comes highly recommended after our recent stay with the family taking three rooms. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by the attention to detail. The rooms were not only immaculately clean but also thoughtfully equipped with everything and more to make our stay comfortable and enjoyable. It felt like the owners had gone the extra mile to anticipate our needs. The little personal touches, gorgeous home made shortbread biscuits, chocolates, bottled water to mention just a few. The breakfast was absolutely beautiful! High-quality, fresh ingredients were clearly used, and it was clear a lot of care went into preparing the meal and table setting. It was the perfect way to start the day. What really stood out was the level of hospitality. Steve and Tony were incredibly warm, welcoming, and genuinely made us feel like valued guests. The personal touches throughout our stay made it feel extra special, and we wouldn’t hesitate to return to this fabulous guest house.

As the title says, this is simply the best B&B you will ever visit. This is our 4th stay with Steve and Tony and unfortunately it’s been a while since our last visit. However, the welcome we received was like we’d never been away. The level of comfort and warmth is as special as ever and the high standards they set are still as evident in every single thing they do. The attention to detail is amazing, from the home made cookies and top class toiletries in the rooms to the stunning breakfast, nothing is left to chance. (You will not find a better English Breakfast anywhere) Needless to say, my wife and I had a lovely weekend and we will be back later in the year…. But we’ll make sure the guys have vacancies as I won’t stay anywhere else. Top Class !

Another wonderful stay at this excellent guest house. Tony and Steve are wonderful hosts and provide a fantastic breakfast. The rooms are so comfy and include slippers and robes as well as really tasty homemade biscuits. We will definitely be back and can't recommend this guest house highly enough.

Lovely clean and comfortable guest house, close to the South Beach and Spa. Steve and Tony the owners do their utmost to make you feel welcome and valued guests. The breakfasts are cooked to order and are excellent. You won’t find a better more welcoming place to stay at the prices they charge.

A lovely guest house near Bridlington sea front. Steve and Tony are excellent hosts and provided us with first class facilities and a wonderful cooked breakfast. We were also given a 10% discount card to use at the local eateries which we used at the Indian restaurant (Masala) about 15 minutes walk on seafront. A highly recommended place to stay where you will receive a warm and friendly welcome. Thank you so much, we will return. Andy & Debi 😁

Steve and Tony gave us a warm welcome, and a homely feeling in a lovely room, that had averything and more. Very clean, comfy bed, enough space. And breakfast was perfect and we were treated on some good, stories filled with humor, about the house's history and the work that was done. And Steve: tnx for the home baked cookies that were delightful. A place to remember!
