Poor food Very busy pub with rooms. Have stayed here before but food not as good this time. Very strange dinner menu choices. Waited half an hour for our order to be taken. Food not very good. No check back by staff either. At breakfast food very poor. My scrambled egg not very hot and not much of it either. Served on top of a slice of toast with a pat of butter at the side . No cereals or pastries or even toast and jam. Won’t be using this place again

I,be tried others in the area they do not compare Whenever I’m in the area for work there is no question as to where I will stay, it’s always here, lovely staff fantastic food and very clean and tidy really great place to stay.

Good location, not bad but could be improved Good stay, but no wardrobe in room 3 despite being a more expensive room than the standard room offered, clothes had to be hung on the back of the door. Not the best breakfast experience, only one dish and everything else is a paid extra. Not asking for the world but I've never had a "tighter" feeling breakfast where it felt like they didn't really want to have to do it. Staff didn't feel the friendliest at times.

Great value for money and comfortable rooms Lovely place with really helpful staff and good food. We stayed ofernight to meet friends and celebrate a birthday. Dinner was excellent and reasonably priced and breakfast was freshly cooked and very tasty. There is a good choice of food on the dinner menu. The rooms were good for the price and breakfast was included. There is a nice deating area in the bar and a separate dining area and a small but pleasant garden at the front with tables etc. Plenty of free parking on site. A great place to meet up and we will be returning in the future.
